Thanks a lot Dawn and Exaltitude. I have been thinking and contrasting between Software and Data Science/ML. This interview has been an eye opener and I deeply appreciate it
here in Colombia there are few colleges and universities offering Data Science but I recently joint a 4 years bachelor in remote a Ucompensar for Data Science (A university located at the capital of Colombia), I would like to do the career traditionally studying On site but I need to work And here in Colombia the only jobs available for students are call center jobs, So this is the only way I have now to study I hope to get a better job in the future and work in something more interesting and valueble, Working in customer service in insanely hard is a madness but well at least I have a job and some support for my family. I hope everyone can get this dream job my best wishes for everyone in this journey.
Hey! Can you please share the any resources (list) for free from which we can learn Data Science from Scratch to Advance level and become a expert data scientist.
Mam , I recently graduated with bachelors degree in mechanical engineering 2024 and i want to shift my career into IT and tech What would be best choice for me 1. AI 2. data science 3. cloud computing I need to mention that I already did minor degree in computer science Covered some of the subjects But although I'm not good at coding, I also did Aws cloud foundation and cloud Architecture certification in my 2nd year of college, Cloud computing, big data analytics, data science, IOT are the subject are covered in major mechanical course as electives Please suggest me mam and also please make a video of " best career transition program options from non tech to tech that requires less coding"
Coding would be the basic on all three of these. Learn a language like Java / C++ and python (- relevant for data related field). It's not that hard to learn it if you have the right resources and are curious to build a project. Once you can code, you will find it easier to pivot as it's about understanding syntax and purpose of the different technologies and how to solve the problems the fields have
