Some of these officers are really very talented at calming the people that have been arrested and put in Jail.

This brings back memories. I worked for years in correctional facilities as a nurse. A lot of characters I have seen. I worked overnight and every morning there would be a medical emergency at breakfast time because the inmates wouldn’t accurately report their alcohol usage and have withdrawal seizures. Always arrived on scene with an inmate full of oatmeal in their hair and face.

I was a correctional officer myself. The blonde correctional officer is doing her job well! She is kind of investigating in a way. Some of the people who come through the booking process are not themselves because of the drugs/alcohol that they are under the influence of. People who have never been in corrections/law enforcement don’t really understand what is asked of the officers on a daily basis. There may be one person who might be perfectly fine and not cause any problems. Then you get the ones that are ones that completely belligerent and combative. Those are the types that put the officers in danger. And myself, personally, I am going into law enforcement myself. I think that me being a corrections officer will give me a one up when I go to the academy. These guys in this institution are doing a great job!

The Female CO and the drunk girl - that female police officer is excellent- she is doing the right job and the girl - she seems like she’d be a really nice girl if she wasn’t drunk - she seemed to “catch” herself being rude or loud each time and genuinely apologized or backed off

I feel like the cops are very respectful, sympathetic and sympathetic. They aren’t being bullies and just doing their job.

Alcohol is SO powerful when misused. Too bad there’s no equivalent of “narcan” for it. The sentence associated with each arrest should automatically include an hourly fee for food, housing and such professional care. So much of our tax dollars are used to accommodate foolishness and poor decisions.

Imagine getting arrested in Vegas and being told "you'll be on season 2 episode 6"

You guys never get a break until you go home. I came there with my mom. I’m not a gambler so I enjoyed the shopping. We were on a train trip and we’re going to stay four days. We stayed two nights and only one full day. We decided it was in close competition with New Orleans for being the den of iniquity and left never ever wanting to come back. While I’m sure it’s not as bad as all that, two days was enough for both of us. They are lucky to have such a wonderful police department. Respect to all of you. I am infinitely grateful that I don’t have to do what you do for I would never have your patience.

I find it difficult to believe these officers are ALWAYS this tolerant and pleasant. Having worked at a prison, I pretty well know this is an act for the cameras! It is nice to see though, and I hope that their efforts to connect with and change people’s lives are made with genuine concern for their fellow human-beings.

no other animal on the planet (that i know of) acts in a self destructive manner. however the exstend of trouble arising from similar sources(drugs) as shown in the Las Vegas area, is a clear indication to me, that the city itself is designed to act as an amplifier for moral insanities of all sort. (clubbing, gambling, drinking, sex) ...and after you spend it all, you overstayed your welcome.

No defense of the suspects actions but I've been watching videos of the Clark County Jail for a few years and the blonde female deputy is absolutely a _"passive aggressive"_ instigator. While very carefully choosing her words she subtly pushes and manipulates certain people getting them even more worked up then smiles slyly and acts innocent and surprised! I wouldn't give her the time of day in real life!!

Casino's take their money and fills them full of alcohol then lets them leave so the Police can arrest them and take more of their money... why would anyone go to Las Vegas is beyond my understanding. Only good things there were some of the buffets and the coke machine... The coke (soda) machines were to only thing that ever paid off.

Near where I live in the u.k. I used to work at the custody suite just up the road, when any offenders are brought in for any reason they are not allowed to mix with other offenders, they are put in ( what we call ) an holding cell for their own safety and other peoples in case they start kicking off , then they are brought up to the counter in front of one of the Sargent's then they spend the night in a single cell on their own whilst being monitored on camera in a room on the out side the 8 30am in the morning they are put in a single holding cell and bought one by one and hand cuffed and taken to court which is located next door to the custody suite and put another single holding cell till they are called into court in front of the judge. The only time they mix with other prisoners is, if they get convicted and sentenced to serve time in prison in which they have to share a cell with another prisoner.
