really odd description of Cruelty prior to it's recording, "....given it a fuller sound" - it's incredibly thin sounding whereas Dusk and Vempire had a full production, even Principal wasn't as anemic. Probably not the place to mention this but I always wondered what happened to the music video they were making for, I presume, Dusk and her embrace. I think Kerrang were on set as they had 4-6pg spread in one issue from '97, before June.
The remaster sounded like a joke. They should have just remixed the drums and left everything else the same. But instead they over compressed everything. The remaster sounds muddy as hell. No clarity in the sound. Not to mention some of the synth stuff on the remaster was re-recorded - and it sounds ridiculous.
Why is most old live footage of Cradle completely ruined by one the guitars being way out of tune?! I mean, how do you release some of the best albums ever made, go on tours, play in the same band as Nick Barker, but STILL you don't know how to freakin' tune your guitar?! It's ridiculous!
