"Sung at the top of punctured lungs I bite My spiteful tongue" So many lines I could choose from this band ... Such a great performance, probably my favourite.
I've seen CoF twice in concert....Ozzfest in West Palm Beach and at the House of Blues in Orlando. Both shows were amazing, and I intend to see them again if given the chance.
I hope that when I'm 54, I still love cof! I'm sure I will. I love them too much now. But when I'm 54, they will all be 74+! I hope they are all still alive by then! :D You are a true fan! I even got my mom into this who's 53.
I think its better to be free and to go to hell than being enslaved by god and going to heaven... So hell is my choice! oh, and CoF is one of the best bands ever!
Theres an interveiw with paul on here somewhere where he talks about cradle restructuring their songs to something along the lines of those from Cruelty for their next album
Dani was credited as "lycanthroat" in 2000, a few years before the release of the movie Underworld so he wouldn't have used the word "lycan", it's probably just a variation on the word lycanthrope(werewolf)
i love the live version more than the studio one cuz of the raw emotion the band portrays live! its like, im taken off to another world! COF fucking rule! \m/
Dani carries off the live vocals really well - it's impossible to replicate the albums in a concert setting. You can see he's putting absolutely everything into it so can haters just give him a break please? People who flame his live vocals obviously don't have any understanding of this genre of music and what it demands of a vocalist. Try it yourselves!
Oh also and by the way. I love the lyrics. :D This is one of my most favorite songs, and my most favourite live performance (next to The Forest Whispers My Name, in Nottingham) ^_^
his vocal range is diverse... so versatile and challenging even he himself cant replicate it at times... haha... but yeah... Dani is pretty kool wit his vocals...
i'd also like to add that it seems like many people listen to cradle and don't understand that they are not meant to be listening to what they would call "pure" black or death metal. these are songs from concept albums that incorporate different personalities and narrators as well as other overt atmospheric effects. the music is a congealed and tight sound, with classical, pop, and punk influences obvious. it's like listening to coheed and complaining that they're nothing like led zeppelin.
