I’ve actually learned to really appreciate the Thornography album! Not only musically but also the lyrical aspect of it. One thing I really love about the Lords of Filth is that they do something quite different from each album. I easily got bored with bands doing the same thing over and over for 30 years! And I think Damnation, Nymphetamine and Thornography were a cool diversion and middle finger to the Black Metal fanatics 🤘

As great as these videos are, showing how modern production showcases how great old riffs of our favorite bands are, it's a shame that tracks like "Dirge Inferno" and "Tonight in Flames" don't get any love.

I do have some of my own. I’m sitting on 9 full tracks (some of them over 10 minutes long). Just haven’t sat myself down to write lyrics and record vocals.

@@BugCombat oh yeah! I have a Slayer video planned already. There’s just been several new releases from awesome bands that I like, so I think they’re more deserving of a video at this time. But the Slayer video is happening for sure.
@@jojoplaysmusicLittle late here but Damnation and a Day is also an exception, album is tuned to C standard with the exception of Doberman Pharaoh (D standard) and Babylon A.D (drop C).
I just learned my first cradle song (nymphetamine) but for years i only paid attention to the vocals so im kinda not sure what a few other choices are..any suggestions?

Queen of wintre throned fuck yeah! Phallustein was their best record! In 90th Cradle were a pure gothic poetry in sound. In '00ths Paul Allender almost runed the band, glad, they are in good shape now. Aslo, Trornography was a nice touch :3
