For sharks teeth, I keep seeing things of them and ones of shells at Hobby Lobby and, occasionally, Dollar Tree

I love this one, John! It was the first video I watched after getting out of the hospital! Been there for the last 6 weeks after having an operation on my foot. Six weeks in the hospital and Tabletop Witchcraft is the first video I went to!

Oh this is a Wicked Worm! I love sharks, and I’m really into into fossils. I can see these fossilised teeth are likely from Gray sharks, some from Bull Sharks, and some lemons! All are at the very least 10 thousand years old…Now how cool is that, that’s one special killer worm you have there!

Bad ass! Very nice and impressive! The shark's teeth stuff is insane, but I love it, lol. A great use for them if you don't want them just sitting in a drawer! I love the look of that worm - a lot of work with the sculpting clay, but you make it look so simple as usual. Great stuff as usual, and another great video. Glad to see this pop up in my feed! I need to visit the Discord channel more often I think!

Great piece brother. The washer mishap has me thinking of making magnetized bases for interchangeability based on environment in which the beastie is encountered.. What did the purple worm say when he found that his daughter had been out all night? "Where in earth have you been?"... Yeah, I got nothing.... Has been real work keeping these up all year. But hope you've had as much fun with them as I have. 🤘🏼

Another wonderful piece! I guess the shark teeth aren't as sharp as the non-fossilised ones. Forgot a previous step in a build? Yup, very familiar issue. Brains are weird. Aluminium is a great heat sink/conductor - why the hot glue cooled quickly.

@@TabletopWitchCRAFT I've been working on an idea for a campaign where my group goes into a cave system that leads them to the center of the Earth! There they encounter mushroom forests and fungi growing on everything! So it stands to reason there would be fungus-infected enemies as well! Something like the Clickers and so forth in the game and the show! That's what I've been imagining!
@photogfrank2146
@photogfrank2146 Год назад
My daughter came up with a cool idea as well! Some of the fungus people could be growing on the walls like the pirates on Davey Jone's ship in Pirates of the Caribbean! They hear our group and start waking up and begin to come loose from the walls and even some of the mushrooms and begin attacking!

@TabletopWitchCRAFT
@TabletopWitchCRAFT Год назад
Thanks for sharing!
@daveyjones5702
@daveyjones5702 Год назад
@@TabletopWitchCRAFT still experimenting with exact recipes, but the effect is there. now it's a matter of testing out surfaces to apply it to and how to best apply it. there are some issues with the stuff not adhering to some surfaces, and i want to see if i can give it some color. best recipe so far: take gesso, add corn starch till it stops being liquid, add paint. then add either gesso to thin it or corn starch to thicken it and get it to a consistency similar to latex; between liquid and solid. thicker then jam, but thinner then toothpaste. then apply to a surface covered with craft paint. this gives a pretty good crackle effect and bonding to the surface. other promising results incl applying to a surface covered in 'all purpose glue' aka tube cement. that transparent stuff that smells like it can get you high :P worst results were applying over a layer of tacky glue, or mixing tacky glue in with it. anything water soluble is reactivated and creates bad looking uneven patterns. incl acrylic based varnish both matt and glossy.
@daveyjones5702
@daveyjones5702 Год назад
update: regular PVA glue works well as a surface to apply to, not as an agent to add to the mix. adding color complicates things because no matter what coloring agent i use, it always alters the consistency of the mix. it's prolly best to make large batches at a time.
