Love this series, such beautiful creations! I recently discovered that a soft dry cotton cloth will aid in adherence and drying when using a glue stick, I don’t get glue all over my hands and fingers and whatever I’ve glued is pretty much dry and non sticky 😀

This might sound like a dumb question. Is the gesso you use clear or just regular white? I’ve never used clear myself, don’t know what it looks like. Love the look you produced using gesso. Thanks for sharing.

Thank you Gi for the napkin inspiration. I would never have thought to use gesso on them! I really like the way the gesso kind of pushed them into the background and made them blend together more naturally without the need for using mod podge :) I hope you are well my friend and I hope your Mum is doing good too? ~ Victoria (Minxy!) xx

Hi Gi , the napkins are from the eBay shop , called “thenapkinshop” , iv bought lots from them , they do offers on the more you buy , plus their postage is great too , hope this helps 😘

Lovely! I may give this a try! The bag looked a little antiqued. Did you run a brown tint or stain on the edges to make it do that before you decorated it or is it the lighting?
