The sqeak is from smooth leather rubbing on smooth leather. Sometimes it goes away with wear and sometimes it doesnt. Gluing the insole down could help but if its not all the way glued down it could still squeak. U can try roughing up the two faces of leather that touch with sand paper and see if that clears it up.
You could rub the bottom of the insoles with sandpaper to make them rough on smooth instead of smooth on smooth or maybe even just a little bit of conditioners on the bottoms could make them mold to the little indents faster to stay in place so it does not squeak.
You can also make your own removable insoles with cork. Select the thickness you need, measure using an existing insole, cut with a knife. They are very comfortable.
The thing is they actually have Damping Latex memory foam topped with a thin layer of Genuine Leather for the removable insole. The thick veg tan insole you got with your boots is custom for you mayb just for the review! If you not specifically asked for it. Must have swapped it because the screws will cause pain if you don't use thick insole
I will tell you something which is very specific to me! I don't feel a leather to be real leather until I hear the "squeak"😊 For example, watch some of the videos of Morrison Made RU-vid channel, he makes some really high quality leather items, my favourite being leather belts. Just notice how much the leathers squeaks! That sound is like like quality to my ears! Hahaha.... that's just me.
Looks like a nice leather. Won't be able to buy since they don't have my size (eu38). Monkey boots are designed to fit more feet dimensions (Adidas Stan Smith sneakers are like that) so the tongue is that way. You can get a cobbler to tack the tongue if you want.
Do you have some recommandation for good European Boots (Brands) for Service and rugged Boots, Work Boots (like the Iron ranger). Should be Not to expansive ?
1st! Nice video i've skipped through it but i think you have made a typo in the title. and those boots are not my cup of tea. the laces start way too low
