My dream is an endless feed bobbin. Like the way you can set up a large spool for the top thread.

Love this simple method. Great gift for men who cook or grill. Always looking for something too sew for the men in my family. Thanks

Thanks! I have another video where you use a fat quarter for the scarf portion. I use mine all the time.😊

Thanks for this. I just saw these for the first time at a craft fair. I knew they were easy to sew...but so glad to find your tutorial and find out the dimensions, etc. Thank you so much. Great gift idea for all the grilling guys in my family too!

Glad it was helpful! I hope you also caught the video I made on how to make this using a fat quarter. Very easy as well. I use mine all the time. One of my subscribers, who is a water colorist, says she uses it while she paints!

I love these and you’re tutorial was very simplistic the way I like it. I’ve been wanting one ever since I saw my first one on a cooking channel I always watch. The ladies had one on and my oh my was it ever handy and they were talking how much they love them too. Again thanks fir a very informative video.

It is so much easier if you turn your short ends in 1/2in before you sew the long sides

@@jerridabailey3995 Hi Jerrida, yes I will be making another tutorial this Saturday using a fat quarter for the fabric portion of the scarf rather than one piece of fabric. I will demonstrate what it looks like. Thank you also for subscribing!😊🤗

My machine tells you when your bobbin thread is rung out so they already make them. So helpful!
@LaviniaNova

Thank you! This is the first sewing machine I bought. I wanted one that could handle thicker fabrics. I wish it had the blanket stitch, the needle down feature and the light that shows you the line to stitch on. However, from what I have seen and what I have been told, you have yo have more than one sewing machine on hand to use when one is in the shop. Maybe next year😄. Thanks for watching!

I like the design of this one. I have made a kitchen boa using a June Tailor kit--but that one is patchwork and costs $14.99. Making it from one full piece of fabric is a lot less work! Thanks.

How do you get directional towels to hang right on both sides
@LaviniaNova
@LaviniaNova 2 года назад
Hi Susan, you would want to sew a hem of what will now be the bottom of the towel. Hope that helps, but let me know if you would like to see a video so it shows how to make one.😊
@susanschoolcraft9989
@susanschoolcraft9989 2 года назад
@@LaviniaNova I thought about that but was trying to keep the finished hems both on the bottom. Thank you because I guess that is what I will do … I have made these over the last couple years but not with directional towels. Your video is great by the way.

@LaviniaNova

Hi Julie, I used the length of the fabric. It was 42 inches without the selvage. You can adjust it to your torso length, or even sew two pieces together so that each side is a different pattern or color. Thank you for watching!

Not a great tutorial in my opinion. I didn't see accuracy in pleats, sewing, levelness of towels. Good idea though. Just too many flaws sorry.
