Miss Deanna, thanks for your videos, I made your hot pad about twenty minutes ago for my cousin who is leaving for college I just love how easy they are. I’m gonna make these for everyone for Christmas. ❤
I so believe that we have angels! I lost my parents back in 1997 and 1998, three months apart. I know they have been watching over me, my children, my grandchildren and now my great grandchildren. Never apologize for talking about your parents they made you who you are. I love your videos, so many good ideas and so much great advice.
Thank you for your videos. I love that you talk about your parents. I lost my daddy a year ago. 😢 It was the hardest thing I've ever dealt with. I talk about him a lot because I know he's with me.
I love when you talk about your parents. I lost my dad 18 years age. He was 59. Cancer. My mom and I live together now because we both lost our husbands. Works out real well. My mom is now 76 and last November she was diagnosed with breast cancer. 1 week before her surgery she got Covid. Which I did too. I truly believe that my dad was with us and helped us through this. While surgery was postponed for 2 weeks she did really well. Now I can say that after chemo and radiation treatments she is cancer free. She even went back to work a couple of weeks ago. My dad was with us all the way. Have a wonderful time with your family. Much love!
I love that you talk about your parents. I have lost both of mine as well and I miss them just as much! I love your videos and all your sewing tutorials! Have fun with your family over the next couple of days!
I just love that fabric. You talk about your parents all you want. My mother has been gone 30 years and I still get upset. Have a blessed rest of the weekend. You are such a sweet person and I so love watching everything you do. Cindy/ carrollton
Love this video and the fabric is beautiful. I don't do craft fairs anymore but I will be making these for gifts and myself. My Mom is 92 and doing well, but I lost my Dad 4 years ago and I always think about him. Don't feel bad about talking about your parents because they were an important part of your life.
Easy enough to make, thank you for the tutorial, Christmas gifts!! And thank you for sharing your stories about your parents. We talk about our dad all the time 🥰 even after 15 years, he too is in heaven ❤. Our mom still with us, 96 & strong. Thanks again!!
Prayers to you sweetie, My mom passed 2 years ago and I tear everytime I think about her or speak of her.. She definitely my Angel. I LOVE hearing about your memories about your parents.. God bless you
Deanna never stop talking about your Mom and Dad. I have lose both of mine and talking about them holds them close to me. I think we should honor them for all they did for else for most of their lives and so many years of ours. It shows by your kindness and caring that your parents raised you very well. Bless them and Bless you.
I lost my dad November 30, 2019. 4 years ago today. I feel you. It's still hard. Talk about your parents. I still do. My mom passed July 1, 2004. Love the hotpad, btw.
Great Job they look beautiful! You talk about your parents all you want it’s your channel my sweet friend! I love listening to you talk about them and hearing you tell us about the wonderful memories you had with them. Send you blessings my friend. I will be adding these pads to my craft fair this year! What do you price them at? You used to mention your prices. 🤗💕
Hello sweet lady, what a lovely little project and your instructions are perfect as always ! I just had my 30ish Sears Kenmore refurbished and it finally back stitches again! So I’m thinking I might try making one. I love that you honor your sweet Mom and Dad and love the little family stories you share. I lost my dad a long time ago when I was only 17 and my mom has been gone over 20 years now and I talk to them daily also. Have a wonderful time with your family sweetie ❤️
Love this project! I hope my own children have that kind of admiration for me! Never mind hearing the wonderful things you have to say about your parents.🥰
Great idea with the zigzag stitching. I love when you speak about your parents. They are so proud of you. They raised a beautiful daughter loving and giving. ☺.

I saved this to my watch later. Love the colors. Hot pads were some of my craft fair best sellers. I'm happy to say that our HOA is allowing a craft fair this fall 🤗🤗🤗. They had cancelled it last year. Hugs and have a great weekend 💕
Colorful hot pads. You can talk about your parents anytime you want. We are here to support you. Stay strong. Have a wonderful time with your brother and his family.
Beautiful work Deanna! Love your hot pads! Wish I could see like that. Precious memories of your family 💕💕💕💕 Always love how heartfelt you are. Angel 👼 indeed. Hugs 🥰
Love it. I lost both my parents n a day doesnt go by that Im not thinking of them, miss them both. Love hearing about your parents not to many people talk about there parents. Love your videos
thank you. I like this! another video I watched says to put another piece of fabric downs a base so that both sides of the batting are covered...when you flip it inside out you wouldn't see the batting at all (its covered by that extra piece) and you don't have to sew that X across the top. Just thought I'd share this.
I love you Hot Pad that did look Easy I have a lot of Demin Jean's from Old Jeans that I cut up thank you so much Love your story about your Love for your MOM IF FEEL THE same way. I lost my Husband 2010, then my Mom 2014 and then my Dad 2019 I too talk about Her & Miss Her VERY MUCH I am the Only Daugther of 6 Boys. God Bless you. I love hearing you Talk And Make things🤗🥰👍💐
Hi Deanna!! I love this project so much ❤. I WISH that I could sew. I have tried and failed so many times. My husband bought me a sewing machine for Valentines day and I can not seem to get the hang of it. You make it look so easy........! Thank you so much for sharing. I may give this a try. I would love to have one in my kitchen. I love the sweet sentiments about your parents so sweet.................😊Hugs....Alisha
Loved this very much Deanna your hot pad is so cute 😊 I don't mine you taking bout your parents My Father has been in heaven since 2012 I talk to him every day. My Mom is almost 93 still living in her house and doing good. ❤ TFS
Haven't see this method before. Really like the simplicity. Just a thought, if you don't like to cut I'm with you there if u ever switch back to 10 inch. Have you thought about using layer cakes? Already pre cut to 10 inches and usually whole stack is already coordinated.
I love your hot pads. Made my 1st ones for Christmas gifts after watching your first video years ago. Love this bigger size too. Do you prewash your fabric? I love hearing about your parents, don't stop talking about them.
I remember that video! Always talk about them ! I talk to my momma everyday in whatever I’m doing. Can you tell me what stitch length that you did the zig zag in? I’m new to sewing. Your sewing video are the reason I wanted a sewing machine. And I love it!
I love that you talk about your parents. It’s also a good reminder to spend time with our parents that are still here. I lost my dad to pancreatic cancer in 2006. I miss him so much, he really was the center of my family. He could do anything. Anyway......... I love the hot pad and yes it would make a great gift. How do you price this for a craft fair?
Where did you find the pumpkin fabric? Thanks for doing this tutorial. Sorry about losing your Mom. I lost my mom my rock last November. I believe they are our angels watching over us
There are quite a few a few layers of fabric . Is there a reason to not trim the corners before turning which would cut down on the bulk and allow for a more defined corner and not so much difficulty poking out the corners.
Hmm. Maybe use these as a place mat and then making coasters out of the charms (5x5) might be really cute, too. But don’t use any batting on the little one. It’ll make it too thick. 😉
