Deanna, these are so cute!!! Kids will love these! And I think $7-$8 is a great price! Love the paper you used on all of them and they are very eye catching!
Deanna I’m so glad you showed these. I’m sharing this video with my friend who has a small daycare. This would be perfect for her to give her kids for Christmas or to do with them. Thank you for sharing.
I am going to make some of these, thank you for the idea. I shopped for the items but they are more expensive here in the Chicago area. The boxes were a whole dollar more for the pack, but it will still be a great item for my craft fair
These are so cute. They would make nice little gifts for my g’granddaughters (5 & 7) to give to their friends. I’d make the boxes and they could help stuff them. Thanks for sharing and good luck with your craft fair this year.
$7.00 is a good price. If a picture of all the completed individual kits were copied, altered so they would all fit on one page, title page something like “Find a picture of your kits on this page”, then they would have a seek and find plus they’d have a reference picture for their kit, and sheet in each box - $8.00 would not be unreasonable. I don’t work, I’d be happy to do it for you and send back via email - my gift to you for always sharing your brilliant ideas❣️🤗💕🦋
So cute! Do you leave any of your items open so people can see what all is included? Just wondering for my first time craft fair. I think $8 would be good or 2 for $15. TFS ❤
So cute, are you putting an image of each ornament so they know what the ornaments look like when complete .? I make kids kits also great sellers for me.. I love to have items kids can afford ❤️❤️ Your kids kits adorable.
I made these kits after watching your video. Thank you for this idea. I sold mine for $20.00 each and i added a mini fine tip bottle of craft glue. I bought empty bottles on amazon cheap and then just filed them. I labeled mine as Holiday Activity Kits. I added in a few things that were different than what you have, but for the most part they were the same. I also made 11 kits. I took the 12th set and made a trifold display board showing exactly what comes in each kit. I have only done one show so far and I only have 5 kits left. 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉 AMAZING JOB! 😊😊😊😊
Those are really cute and should sell pretty decently. 🤩 As for what to charge... price often depends on your area and what the market will bear. So, if you feel that $7 to $8 is right for your area, then it's probably right. 🙃💲Looking at your figures (sorry, that's the accountant in me😉), your $7 price isn't quite covering all of the hidden costs you have... like electricity, heating/cooling, and your time. Usually cost is tripled to cover that. Just letting you know... because you're worth it. 🥰
I was adding up your cost with each item that you placed in the box and I came up with nearly the same amount. I just wanted to compare my costs when I make suprise bags. I really love to see the excitement in the faces of the children when they see them at my vendor show. 😊
Great idea! I went to HL and got some kits. I put a colored copy of the project on the front, so they know what the finished project looks like. I'm only making 8 for the craft fair. The remaining supplies are for my friends kids. They will have so much fun with it. Thank you for the inspiration,
Deanna thanks for sharing. such a clever idea. I know my 7 year old Granddaughter would love getting one. I would be interested to know how well they sell. I think $7.00 is a good price, I usually just double what i have invested in, as pricing is the hardest part for me.
I love this idea! I'm in the process of getting ready for a craft show in December and I think these would be great to add! Thank you so much for sharing! Also, after seeing some of your videos, i went and purchased some of the Candy Cane Lane paper and I LOVE it!!! Can't wait to see what you make next!!!
These would make great little Christmas gifts for the grandkids!!! Love this idea!!! What font did you use on your cricut to write out the Christmas Kid Packs?
How long does it take you to make each one? And how much do you enjoy it? That’s what I consider. I figure I would be paying the electricity and lights anyway One could also make the labels on a computer and just cut them out
Love the boxes. If you could show the contents of what they are getting I think that would help. $7 to $8 is a good range. Did you account for the peppermint?
These are great!! Kids will love these!! Yes $7 is a great price!! You make great projects!! Love your ideas!! Are you charging for the candy cane too? Big hugs! ❤❤❤
Deanna - you bought several items at Dyso. Is that local to your area? I tried to find it on Google, but had no success. Thanks for sharing your lovely projects.
Hi Deanna, please forgive me if I’m being intrusive, but I am researching in preparation of my first craft show. I’m unsure of pricing. Do you have a formula you can share with me? I found an article telling me to calculate all expenses and then double it. I doubt this ‘formula’. Also, have you ever sold items on Etsy? It’s so difficult to assign a value to things. I’d appreciate your advice. Thank you. Mary
I did something so close to this this year! Great minds think a like! For the cute little foam kits like the reindeer I photo copied the image on the package and put it in the bag as well with the pieces so they can see what it is supposed to be
I think you should sell them for 10.00 You got your materials on sale. You should go by the regular price of items you use not the sale price. Very cute.
Really cute! I can't believe how cheaply you were able to fill them 😉. I do have a suggestion, now that they're all finished of course... Shouldn't it be "Christmas Kid Pack" - singular not plural, on the box label? *** And literally while I typed this it occurred to me that maybe you were referring to the multiple packs inside... Ignore me, it's Monday with not enough coffee 🤣.
