Tying a basic walleye streamer using Select Craft Fur. The color pattern is a favorite jig color of mine for walleye.
This is a first in what will become a line of walleye flies that I will offer of my own design; that are my interpretation between a basic Wisconsin / Wolf River style 'teaser' and a traditional Catskill Style hairwing.

In the river walleyes can't see details anyway, it's a fast hit and some call it impulse bite. but as long as its turns upstream for a few seconds like bait fish does. It'll be good.

Great pattern Jay. I tie something very similar to this one for some guys but they use it as a catfish stinger. Basically a drop rig under the main bait of choice. Apparently catfish will hit a fly based on my customers information. Thanks Jay and try to stay warm. In my neck of the woods we are about to have tornadoes late Thursday. Not looking forward to that!
