Ha ha omg mine is 😳 what happened here then ..... 😅 it can't be helped iv been sewing for 35 years and iv yet to find a salutation... we need so much to create a perfect project then clearing up hmmmmm "does this mean tidy ! Put away !! " lol every chance we need it ... I took to using trays anything that had 4 sides ,,, u know uv a huge problem when u keep finding them ! And when we can't find a thingy we buy another cos we need it ... I'm using my living room and sorting my workroom ...I keep finding the trays I sorted and organised 12 of them with needles bobbins cottons Scissors, seam rippers sewing feet 🙈 I have too much .... and fabric SCREAM I could open a shop I kid u not ,it hurts to think of getting rid of my supply but I have to pity I'm not in the US ,I'm still watching and frantically organising I'm doing a knole sofa high side in next few weeks and chairs xxx

I’m still working on keeping things organized!! For the paper packs I’m thinking about using an old shoe “dresser” from IKEA that I’ve had forever and I think it’s just the right size! My scrapbook paper is currently organized in a kitchen pan lid organizer I found on amazon and it’s working for now… I’m so happy that you found the video motivating!! I’m in Chicago so I can’t stop by unfortunately 🥰

I do have a collection of stencils that need a home, and I think the basket is a great idea to help me put things away when I’m done!!!🥰

IF … IF!! … it stays temporary, that’s a good idea. BUT, as crafters / part of “life”, we know how one can interfere with the other! (As I craft in my kitchen, everything pretty much HAS to be stashed away pronto or food prep would soon trash my goodies!

I have a “craft house” not just a room😂😂 I think my number one goal is to have items in only one place, so ie: paint in one spot instead of 3 different rooms in my house

As I have NO craft ROOM, I, too, craft in my kitchen. It’s a far better space for the purpose, as the lighting is good from both the under-cabinet lights and the overheads, and water is right to hand for cleanup, etc. Maybe it’s time you clear out any and every item you have stored in your kitchen that doesn’t get used daily, and store THOSE items back wherever your crafting goodies are? In my case, I DO have a “pantry” that has a couple of the short “Michael’s cubes” on wheels (one is my “color cart” = inks, colored pencils, stencil pastes, etc.; one is tools = blending brushes, tape runner refills, a lot of misc. - hmm … time to re-sort!!) plus a couple of the shelves I dedicated to my paper, bigshot, and half-sized cardboard “file boxes” I’d long ago bought at Hancock Fabrics that were designed to store dress patterns; they house (1) all things “Embossing” (e-folders, e-powders, etc.); (2) all Dies; (3) all Stamps; (4) Small Paper Pads, Craft Foam, Tape Runner overflow, etc. My problem with these is, although they are to hand, it’s not easy-peasy to take them down each time I need to access them. And, too, the STAMPS are the worst dilemma!! I have GOT to get them stamped out and put the images in a binder, so I’ll k n o w that that “FLORAL STAMP set” also has “Fairies” !!! 😱😩😵‍💫🤦🏼‍♀️

That is so funny!!!! you are the only person that has ever commented that but I am one of six kids and there is a very distinct nose in my family that is rather large and Italian, and mine is different from everyone’s, I will be sharing your comment with my siblings 😂😂😂 for sure!! ❤️❤️❤️
