In this video you get a tour of my happy place, my craft room. My craft room is in the basement of my home. It is DIY and created to have an industrial feel to it. I wish to have a warehouse one day... lol dreams... I homeschool my youngest son as well as work in this room. If you have any questions about the things you see in this tour, please leave a comment. I respond to everyone in time. Although paper crafting is first and foremost my hobby, I am an affiliate for several companies. I am not currently on any design teams but I have been in the past. I do however get paid for paper crafting videos so the items in this room are in excess of the normal everyday crafter. I have purchased most of the things in this room myself. Only and handful of supplies have ever been sent to me for free. If it isn't a stamp set, I most likely paid for it myself. I do not plan to link to all of my products in this video. What an incredible craft room! I’ve been crafting for probably 50 years. I’ve only had a craft room for about the last 15 years or so. Unfortunately I like to do lots of things, the newest being card making. I like to sew, I make figures and ornaments out of polymer clay. I used to do a lot of wood crafts. Needless to say I have a lot of stuff and I’m struggling to keep (in truth to get) it organized. You’re so fortunate to have so much space and to have a husband who can build you what you want. Love it!

Honey, I quilt on a Brother and I have the same jar of thread. And every papercrafter I know has a "staging area" lol. Love the craft room. You and I think a lot alike, looking at the organization

We do think alike. I’m saving up for a new sewing machine. I don’t want to be frustrated with it so much. I’ve got it working pretty well but for a good two weeks it was making thread nests on the underside. It does also like to eat the ends of my fabric, so I’ve learned that I have to start way further down into the seam and try to backstitch. I just keep dropping pennies into the new sewing machine jar. I wish you could come over to craft. ♥️

I have carpet in my craft room, and that's a very real worry! I found that a rolling chair mat was a great solution for me. I bought the biggest one I could find for my craft table area, and it's proven useful a few times now.

I have to say that you have one of the best craft rooms. I liked so may of the items that you have for your supplies. I want to buy some Ikea drawers and shelving, but I will have no one to build for me. I am on the hunt for book shelfs . I have a lot of different crafts I dabble in.

We have a similar walkout, and with a door of that type a lot of light would come in (although its my husbands woodworking area he could use the light).

My husband has the garage and a very large shed in our backyard, plus extra property off site of our home where he manages his business. He has plenty!!! This is mine, lol. Thank you so much for watching Debbie. Honestly, I was just as happy in one small room as I am now. I just get to spread out.

I use to keep a Creative Memories rolling tote full of supplies and that's all I had. I worked and had two kids, I didn't have a Tim. Now, things are much different. I'm so glad you like my space. Thank you so much for watching Dayna.

We have built in protection on the walls. Plus we live on top of a hill. If it floods, minimal loss. We pay enough attention to the weather I hope. There is always a chance. I would manually be down there with buckets if I had too. Lol 😆

Oh Koren, ditch that singer and get yourself either the Janome 9400 or a juki. I love both my little Janome or the bigger heavy duty Juki. I've been sewing since I was 2nd grade. Mom was a seamstress. I have a old old Bernina too that is a tank. Love to get a new one but the price of a car! I would in a heartbeat though. Looking for affordable try those other 2. Wonderful room getting lots of ideas for my tiny room.

I am begging my husband at the moment to get rid of our dining room which has NEVER been used and turn it into MY own big craft room. I used our living room. We technically have a living room and a family room in this house and we don't use either, so it was easy to get rid of one in exchange for a craft room. I moved down here to have more space and to spread out. It's nice, but dark and cold, and I hate the spiders. Although they strangely remind me of my Dad so I make friends with them. Great craft space Koren. I have a new space that is a work in progress and I'm also lucky enough to have a husband who builds stuff for me. I'm on the hunt for storage solutions that are available in Australia. It can be hard to find stuff that works well and is a good product. My local 2nd hand store has done well with my not working "solutions".

Plus, I’m fully capable of doing much of the work myself… 😃 but I don’t. The glass shelves are from ikea. They are super easy, you can do those yourself. They come in a 2/pack.

I only have these few scrapbooks. I love to keep photo albums more than scrapbooking. I have a few of those in the house. My felt is used for card projects, ornaments… Dexter just made a stuffed dinosaur… all kinds of things. I’m so glad you like my room. I feel like I could be more organized. The link is for the brother printer I bought. You might be able to find a better deal somewhere else. I searched for monochrome toner printer and this was the one I liked the most. Hi Hannah! I used a command hook to hang my scoreboard. The back has a wire connected to the back, just like if you were hanging a picture frame. You can drill holes in the plastic to attach a wire across the back. I hope that makes sense. I tried to go as fast as possible but I did miss things. Having a RU-vid channel is a lot of work, but I just love the interaction I get with other crafters, just like you. I would totally do it, if you can.
