I love your craft room! I wish I would have thought of a counter top for my desk. I have a very nice 6’ wood top that I got at Menards and my husband sanded and stained it, it’s very nice but I don’t want to gouge it or scratch it. I’m still organizing my room, someday I will get it finished!
SO-O-O inspiring - I'm even going to buy that 'flimsy' plastic slim cart. It's the perfect solution for the left side of my craft table - to get tools off my floor! tfs + I subbed! 🙂
Goodness, that is a fantastic craft room. Only another crafter could appreciate the effort and amount of work it took for you to get it so beautifully organized. Congratulations!
First introduction to your channel, but I’m still so happy for you. I happen to be in the initial stages of figuring out what really works for me and finding solutions for all that doesn’t. Thank you for the encouraging words on purging. Now to just do it!
Hello my precious friend, I love love you new improved and organized Craft room. I know I could get inspired there for sure. When I was watching all the different things you did to organize I was going through my mind about my own craft room and how I have been feeling uninspired because it has gotten so cluttered. I’ll send you an airplane ticket if you want to come to Canada and come help me with mine! Lol You have always been a wonderful inspiration and fantastic friend and I can’t wait to see what you start creating again. Now I have to get started. Love the pillow for the pussy cat 🐈. Love you. Sending you blessings. 💕😊
Thank you, Tammy. I was starting to suffocate under all the clutter and was not inspired to craft at all. I crafted in my new space yesterday and today, and it felt awesome! I put everything back in its place when I was finished because I like the room clean😊
Hi crystal, crafty sue told me to come over and check out this video. I have been working in my craft room for 2 weeks now. I would say I’m about half way done. I love all the plushies sue made. She is so dang talented. You certainly did organize everything so nice. That’s what I’m attempting to do now. It’s no easy task. Great job and thank you for sharing with us.
You’re really making me want to go get some sort of drawers or desk from Hobby Lobby. Stop saying Hobby Lobby!!!! Lol. As pretty as the rug is, it would be a huge trip hazard for me. Your crafting sessions will be more enjoyable now.
This is so beautifully organized and pretty to look at and work in. I especially love your color coded system for storing stamps and dies and the distress ink labels. A place for everything and everything in it’s place. Very very nice!
I’m cruising all the craft rooms for Inspo for my room update. I loooove your video bc you have very useful, practical budget friendly solutions. Thanks so much for reminding me that Big slots has furniture options! I think I’m going to do the same thing you did counter top wise and the system to hold it up - such a great solution at almost 3X less than what I’ve seen! Side Note: I chuckled at your 91% alcohol underneath your table. All crafters that use inks and dyes know you need the highest amount lol Thanks for sharing. GOEGEOUS!
Beautiful crafty space Crystal!! How did you decide what to purge and what to keep? I do so many different crafts, that I don't want purge something only to find I need it in the future...Love your color choice with the pink, grey and white too!!! TFS
Thank you so much, Mary! I decided to purge those things that had been hidden in boxes or in my closet. I figured if I didn't even know I had it, no use in keeping it 😊
Oh my goodness!!! Just found your channel ...and I am absolutely amazed at your craft room! It is so awesome ...and I have looked at lots of craft rooms thru the years and yours is truly beautiful! Luv your 3 color choices, luv your die and stamp organization and luv your pops of pink here and there!!! What a gorgeous room to create in!!! You have truly went the extra mile to make it yours! May you have tons of enjoyment in your happy space! Hugs, Suzy Q
Your room looks awesome. You did a great job making it functional. I do have a question, where did you get your spinning storage on your desk that holds pencils, pens , scissors, etc. I want one that holds a lot but doesn’t take up a huge space. Yours looks perfect! Let me know and thanks for sharing your craft room!
This room is so beautiful. The details of taking the time to not only label but to put beautiful labels on your supplies. I love it too! The curtains are beautiful! You really did do a fantastic job. You put a lot of work into this room and it shows. It will be a joy to work in. Purging is key. There is no sense in cluttering a room with things you won't use. I decluttered in about 2017, major. I did the Kon Marie method. I literally went through every piece of paper, every brad. Then I gave it to friends, the library, the thrift stores. I am now slowly doing a little at a time as I have accumulated more things. Anyhoo, enjoy your new space!
Happy belated birthday! I'm jealous, what a nice craft room. You did such a great job. It's just such an inviting area it makes you really want to go in and craft. Beautiful job.
It’s my first time here. Your room is terrific. How did you manage to declutter? That’s my hang up. I love everything and everything has potential. So glad to hear the true delight in your voice. What’s the first thing you’ll make? Are you afraid of messing up your space? Tfs. Hugs. Terrie.
I absolutely DREADED decluttering my space, but I refused to put new countertops in a cluttered room...so that motivated me. I have already started back crafting and have made a few greeting cards. Not afraid of messing up my room, because so far, I've managed to put stuff back in its place when I am done. Thank you for watching 😊
Oh my goodness, what a wonderful room to walk into. I love love everything you have done. The color on the wall and all the pink pink pink is awesome. It all comes together beautifully!!!!!!…..cyndi m.
Beautiful room and beautifully organized!! I love the pink!! What did you use for your dividers you made for your dies and stamps, are they made of cardstock , then laminated? Was that a pricey project? I just love that! 🩷
Absolutely enjoyed seeing your craft room! Beautifully done and well organized! Love how you color coded your dies and stamps and the nifty way you did your distress dies. And what an awesome family and friends to help you with getting it together❤️ oh and I love pink too and mint green. I have those colors in my craft room too😊 Thank you for sharing! Happy crafting!😊❤️
I have just saw you for the first tonight, you have inspired me to get my own craft room into shape.I think I would need to spend 3weeks as well. Your craft room is beautiful,May you have much fun and happiness as well.May the Lord bless you in your work.Jesus loves me too, this I know that’s the most important thing in life to know the Lord Jesus as your Saviour.❤️🌺🌺🌺🌺
Congratulations on completing your craft space! I’m a long way from completion, although I have started…🙃 Hoping to get there soon! Your space is wonderful! Cheers to many blissful hours of crafting ahead!
Your craft room has inspired me to continue working on mine! I have the same color combo...love it! Beautifully organized room...you did an awesome job!
I just found your channel and so far, I'm loving the room tour. I had to stop when you got to the mint drawer carts. I have the clear drawer version and those little tiny holes in the metal top - my cat Mittens got one of his nails caught in it. It look us about 5 minutes to get him freed but it felt like forever because he kept freaking out trying to free himself and bite us in the process. I put clear contact paper like you'd use for kitchen cabinets over mine. Happy crafting!
New subscriber here. Love your craft room! I’ve watched so many and yours is my fav!! Do you happen to have a list of your label titles for dies and stamps. You have inspired me to work on mine and hopefully make them look as organized and cute as yours!!🌷
Oh my gosh! It is BEAUTIFUL!!!! I know what you mean about your flimsy mint green carts. I had one with different colors and bigger drawers at the bottom but would still buckle the flimsy plastic. I re-purposed it to hold my sons' Legos which even with a ton of Legos in the drawer was still pretty light. My style with my scrapbooking has changed dramatically over the years so I am in yet another purge and donation to Goodwill. My room, however, is not as big as yours so I am downsizing at the same time. I am at least 2 weeks away from finishing and I can only hope my room comes out half as nice as yours! Congratulations!
Thank you for sharing your experience, I am wanting to reorganize my space as well. Your room is about the same size as mine, so I was able to begin visualizing what I can do with my own room. I am so inspired 😊
wow love how you organized this room I'm inspired by your ideas thanks for sharing this with us. I really need to do this and believe me it will be more than one truck load of donations when I do it :)
I saw your purse you made on your wall and I still have the one you made me. It's one of my prize possessions. You are so talented and creative. I tell anyone that will listen you made me that purse. Hee hee. Xoxo
What an absolutely gorgeous room!! I love the way you die cut your labels. They look stunning! Your mother's paintings are beautiful and compliment the room so nicely. I've been watching various craft room videos and YT recommended yours and I'm so glad I saw it. It's very inspiring!
I just love your laminated dividers. I made something similar but they are not laminated......I think I have to get busy. I also have a thin cart similar to yours but I dont like it because it tips easily. It is mostly used for ribbons. I also love your lamp. Thanks for sharing.
What an amazing video, I've watched so many of these but this is my favourite! Thank you so much for sharing and well done for taking the time to organise all your stash and filming it You have given me so many ideas of how to store and organise my own stuff which really needs some attention and feel truly inspired.
I love it but I am a messy crafter andI have such little time to craft in because Major is still so young and takes so much of my time and energy!!! Islam thrilled for you sweetie!!!Beautiul !!!!❤
Your room is beautiful and I love that you can hear how happy and excited you are as you go through and talk about everything! I'm so glad you've got your dream space! I also have a similar setup with the countertops and I want to give you a heads up, make sure there's support in the center of the small one. Just take a small board or something, you can even paint it but it'll start warping quickly. You may want to consider something on the end of the larger one as well where you don't have as much support. Hope you find this helpful! Enjoy your new room!
@@crystalcheatham1 thank you for answering my question:) I guess I need to go to Ross:) oh yes I also hit the subscribe button and I look forward to seeing your creativity:) Have a blessed week:)
craft room looks beautiful, but what caught my eye, which is also what I'm looking for, is the ribbon holder. went to Amazon but can't find it, all I found was the washi tape holder, which is the same concept as your ribbon holder. Are they discontinued? Have a lot of ribbon to put away. thanks.
On your carts with the mint colored drawers it sounds crazy but they will be sturdier if you make sure the wheels are unlocked (especially if they are on carpet). I have several of them.
