Me too! I can’t live without my books and proudly display them in five bookshelves in my living/family room. To me, a house with no books is a house with no soul.

Pausing at 8 minutes in (having a panic attack that it’s already half way over) so you stand up at that fabulous metal cabinet table when you craft ??? So far this is the most enchanting craft studio I’ve ever seen in my entire 66 years, 11 months, and 10 days….EVER 😍😍😍. Question answered…yes you stand, but you also have choices 🥰😉😉

That is such a darling space! I love all the vintage, gorgeous! My husband is building me a she-shed to craft in and I keep going back and forth on whether I want dressers w/ drawers or shelves or a combo of both. It helps to see videos like yours for inspiration! Thanks for sharing!

Good husbands are such a blessing! We live in North Carolina so no basement but my husband bought me a storage shed for my crafting area. I can’t wait to make it as fabulous as yours!
What a wonderful space. My craft room is also in our basement and my wonderful in laws helped my husband and I fix it up years ago. My son as a birthday gift, built shelves for me. I have gotten wonderful ideas from you and will be down cleaning and organizing this morning.

This is the first video of yours that I've ever seen and it's exactly what I need. I got so excited when you said that you were working in an old basement because I'm looking to buy a home and could very well end up with "an old basement" just like yours. I probably won't have a ton of money to put into the new craft room so I was really happy to find this video. Until you said you and your husband tore into it and "built you a craft room". I was sad for a minute because I was afraid you had really BUILT a new room instead of working with what you have... I was SO SO happy when the first image popped up and you hadn't built an entirely new room--- I love it! I too like to use odds and ends and bits and pieces... An old dresser or table to me is much more fun than brand new cabinets from IKEA 😉. (I'm sure some IKEA will find its way into the new room - I really need some flat files lol. I'm just happier when I have things around me that have a story and a history to them.)

OMG I love your craft space I am like you that I have started running out of room for all those thrifty bargains. I also love how you have repurposed your alley finds as I call them. Someone else's trash is my treasure. I don't have the handy husband though; would You consider renting yours out!!??? This is one of the sweetest rooms. So many people think they have to have the white ikea look to have a nice craft room, but this room is so special. I hope you and Audrey are able to make many special memories crafting!

Thank you so much for the tour. I loved seeing your organization. This is doable!!! I am so inspired. My crafting corner is a hoarders dream!!!! I just made an assemblage of a young lady vintage planter. I added ribbon, pearls and beads. I bought some vintage cards off eBay to add a sentiment. This is so much fun!!!!! Oh my goodness....Bear (if I may call him that) is definitely wonderful. I think it is so awesome when our partners embrace our love for crafting. Your space is just charming. I look at it as industrial vintage...those pipes and things add a bit of charm to all the lovely laces and vintage goodies you have. I think many of us crafters tend to "over buy" I know I do. And you are correct...having so much can be a hinderance. I aspire to one day downsize all my stuff so I can enjoy what I have. Thanks for sharing. gina
I love your craft room! I used to have a 400 sq.ft. craftroom in the marriage house that was recently sold after a divorce (at 63!). I’m renting for this year and had to put all my tools and supplies into storage, so I am itching to get my own new house soon and have another organized craft room. In the meantime, I am crocheting ‘furiously’ to keep my anxiety and stress in check. 😊
