Awesome way to store the ephemera. Looks amazing. Thank you for showing how you store your paper supplies and the stickers. The washi wall looks amazing as well. So much inspiration xx
I so very much like the ways that you have organized. 💖 The file folders you had to trim look great. I especially like the hook & loop closures so everything stays put if the crate were to tump over. I'm the same way about needing to see things to remember what I have. TFS❤️👍🏻✨
I had the same problem with my tension rods, now I know how to fix that problem thank you so much for the tip. Love your craft room and all your organizing ideas.
Your washi storage is how I found you. Graciesloft was raving about your washi wall. Such a smart idea. Thanks for sharing. Gonna go tidy my craft room now😊
Thanks for the tour, I loved your last videos and am loving this set as well. I have borrowed a few of your ideas already as you have inspired me to get my craft room set up and working in a much better way. Looking forward to whatever you post next xo
Your WASHI wall is TOTES ADORBES!!! Love it! Love it! Love it!!! And I love how you store your stickers and ephemera. I really need to work on my craft room now. Ha
Lol! Thank you SO very much, Brenda!! I wish I was as motivated to work on the rest of my house as I am this room. ;) But for some reason, I would rather be crafting. :D Thanks so much for watching, I hope you have a nice evening!
Thanks so much!! Some people like to string them on the rod or poles they use too, but that's too much for me, I like the grab and go aspect. ;) Thanks so much for watching, I hope you have a great weekend!
I got excited when I saw that we have some of the same washi. You are the crafting queen after all. Love these videos from you it really inspires me. xo-AnnaNicole
I watched your first washi wall video quite some time ago and I've been trying to figure it out where I could do something like that in my home. It don't quite of the right spot but after watching this one I realized I could probably use a bookshelf that I have a storage to do something very similar. thanks again for the beautiful ways to store all of your supplies.
Thank you for this second video. I still only have the one rod and it is holding pretty good. Now that you gave us the spacing, i can measure out the space which does not go to the floor. I was also thinking about putting up the curtain rod holders that get nailed into wall. I don't care about the nail holes. I'm going to also try the idea with putting the rods inside the cupboards, that would give more space. BUT I just love your wall!!! Your organization is just wonderful and thoughtful.
When I saw your washi wall for the first time I show it at work,lol... Make sense used those little spaces like that. I want to learn how to make a rosette you have a video right? Im going to search true your videos🤓. Thanks for this wonderful videos it clear my mind all this daily craziness. Take care Lynnette have a wonderful week.👍🏻😉😍
I love hearing that! Sorry I didn't read that sooner, my week has gone off the rails and I am behind. :( Thanks so very much and thanks for watching! I hope you have a great day!
the washi wall is so cute with all the different colours. and so nice you have the printed ducktape in the us. really hard to find over here. you really have a happy craft space. love it! tfs hugs brigitta
New subbie! Your Washi wall makes me happy too! Lol. I'm slowly building up obessed now with Washi since watching these RU-vid dollar tree videos and Dyi. Tfs
Hi Lynette, I love how you used the tension rods and how you secured them. Definitely a wise use of wall space behind the door. Often, that's wasted space. Your ephemera organization system is brilliant! Keeping the packaging and sticking it to each envelope or folder is helpful when it comes to replenishing and repurchase. Once again. Love everything. TFS, hugs~ Josie :)
New subbie here, I came across your channel as a YT suggestion. Thanks YT! Guttering would work well as an alternate storage solution & people could knock up a frame to hold the guttering or tension rods if there is not a space between walls available. I am so jealous of the US target, ours here in Aus is nowhere near as good. Great idea with the file folders, I need to sort out my older ephemera & this is an option. I just keep current ephemera in a zip lock bag with the rest of the collection so it's easy to access it all together. Love the sticker box too! Now I'm off to check out so,e of your other videos :)
Thanks so much!! I actually just keep all my alpha stickers in a plastic tub with a lid on a shelf. I don't seem to reach for them very often, but then again, that's probably because they're tucked away in a bin. ;) I should probably get them out! Thanks so much for watching!
you are so organised, i would love a craft room but i just use my bedroom and a few boxes but you have given me some ideas. what do you use your stickers for, when my daughter was young i had a lot of penfriends and we would put them on the envelopes and also trade to each other as i had penpals in usa. does anyone else here remember the friendship books we used to write our name and address in and forward on? i live in uk....
I used to have my craft space in the basement under the stairs. :) It was the only nook in the house! I actually loved it though, I even put under cabinet lighting under the steps, it was pretty cool. Sometimes getting creative with our little spaces is just as fun! I use my stickers for mailing package too! I like to mail packages to friends. I will also use them in my planner and scrapbooking sometimes. Your friendship book sounds very cool! Thanks so much Jackie, and thank you for watching!! I hope you have a great day!
6699Jackie, the notebooks where an individual would choose an available number, sign it, answer a question per page using your number, then at the end add your addy and then mail to a friend? Once all the numbers were taken up, the last person mailed it back to the first person? We called them "slam books" back in the '70s. They were so much fun!!! 💖✨
Daisycutter X hi yes very similar to that except i dont think we answered any questions, i may be wrong about that. i loved receiving those envelopes containing a letter from a penpal and a few friendships books, we called them fbs for short. they would travel worldwide and when it was full the last person was meant to return it to the person who made it. people would rubber stamp pretty designs etc oh they were good days before emails lol....lovely to hear from you :)
6699Jackie, Oh, that is far, far better than what we did!!! I truly would have loved that!!! 💖 I recall how much I wanted a pen pal. When I taught seventh grade back in the '90s, I was quick to sign my interested students up for a pen pal program where all letters used our school address c/o of the teacher sponsor. Another program would be where students wrote a short letter about themselves and desired a response. The envelopes came singularly and addressed this way: Any 7th grade student at any school then our zip code. So I would read the letter, which always contained a short photocopied letter of explanation from the teacher, and then I would ask a child with similar interests if he or she would like to write this child back. The teachers almost always covered the cost of postage and envelopes, never the school. (Just to give you an idea of the cost per project: $0.49 per stamp and an envelope X 137 total students whom I taught per day on a salary of $28K.USD. This is likely why a lot of public schools did not participate.) I miss those days bc those letters instilled a love of correspondence and of patient anticipation in my students. I enjoyed sharing memories with you, too. I hope you have a wonderful weekend. 😊💖✨
Daisycutter X thankyou so much. i love the idea of the children having penpals it must have been so much fun for them to receive a letter. i loved getting my letters. have a lovely day xx
That sounds like fun! Maybe once I get caught up with all these things I am behind on I could swap! Maybe others will see this comment too and be interested! Thank you so much for watching! I hope you have a great Friday!
