This just may be my solution for my “mountain of grey shame”! As a mini war painter/gamer/hobbyist I am in dire need of organizing my space so I have the optimal lighting for painting my miniatures and large terrain pieces alike!

You have an awesome layout for your craft room, I really like how you've made full use of the space. I'm in the process of putting together a similar type of space in a shed in my yard but the original plan I had for the furniture is changing. I found your channel because I'm looking for some better ideas than what I originally planned, and I am so happy you made all these great videos! My question is about the end cabinets with doors at the back of the studio. What are those cupboards called? When I just checked the Ikea website I searched for Alex cabinets and I didn't find them. Are they from a different line? Appreciate any suggestions you have for finding those type of cupboards. Thanks so much!!

In the beginning you showed two clearish plastic boxes that housed your white and kraft cardstock. Do you know where you got those by chance? And do you by chance remember what section the unit holding your marker storage is in? (trying to search it lol). Do you find that the weight of your work surfaced and other items make the alex drawers hard to open? I'm hesitant to stack too much on mine.

Hi Melanie, the plastic boxes I put my kraft and white card in are from Muji. I can't remember where in Ikea that unit was from - and this was some time back now, so they may not even still sell it. I've never had any issues with my Alex drawers, and there's a huge amount of weight on them now!

IAM Q HUGE IKEA fan. I am about to purchase a few more of the Alex units, I have several now. They are awesome. Thanks for sharing. I do have a question, where do you get the large amounts if embossing powders? I have one large container I got at an outlet store, some where in Ohio USA. Thanks for sharing your space with us,

Hi Cynthia - my big tubs of embossing powder are from Wow Embossing - they sell lovely big tubs so I get those for my most used colours.

I love your craft room & the inspiration you have given me. I was planning on doing something similar with 2 alex cupboards & 1 drawer unit (all the space I have) and also I’m going to add a desktop to lift it up. But could you tell me roughly how much higher you have put it. Thank you.
