How to tell when you watch a lot of Gayle....You stand at the kitchen counter, looking for something, and you say, Soooooooooooooo, to no-one in particular because you’ll all alone! As far as I know, there is no cure. So, or should I say “soooooooo,” I’ll just continue watching! Thank you for another great video!

I have now been watching you pretty much nonstop for a week. You have become my new JJ buddy. I wish we could craft together in person, but just having you on inspires me to create more.

Another morning with Gayle. I find myself making my list and then Gathering my materials after your video is finished and begin my crafting morning. Gayle - If your old computer is connected to the internet with a physical cable, that's always going to be faster than a wireless connection, which is probably how you're uploading from your MacBook. You need to check with your internet provider and ask what your current connection speeds are (download and upload). It's the UPLOAD speed that's slowing you down. Your internet provider may have faster options available.

Ted Buddy, probably went from Spokane to Skagit County, WA where he followed my aunt who was leaving her work. My aunt got suspicious and went to my uncle’s (her brother), house. She got out of the car and ran into the house. Bundy waited outside in the driveway for a few minutes, then left. The police came but could not find him. He was spotted again in Bellingham, WA. Small world. Good thing my aunt was observant. Oh, really cool envelope by the way. Barb

Fun project and you and Wendy are both equally creative, just love all the elements that were used. Tfs I used to sell Party Lite as well and worked my way up the ladder but developed an allergy to all the scents and now can't be around candles, perfume, etc. Good Times!

Beautiful envelope window pocket! I'm recuperating from a biopsy yesterday on my right breast. It's so wonderful to have Gail here to keep me company while I can't do anything. Hi Gayle, I just wanted to let you know that I have tried to order UHU Glue stick three times from Amazon and they send the UHU Magic Blue glue stick. They are suppose to be taking this off the shelf until they can get it corrected. Just wanted to let you know.

Hi, Gayle (again). 😂. Hope you figured out your computer issues! You're probably in my state now, or will be soon, praying for safe travels! You should pop down here and visit, what's another 8 hours? 😂😂😂. I was going to try and finish the videos I've missed, but this was a HARD working week, so I'll get caught up tomorrow (I hope). We've both been sleeping 5 hour nights and working 12 hour days with about 300 miles driven daily, we're exhausted, and next week is looking the same 😢. For my Mac video's I need to convert them from .MOV to MP4. I use "WonTube Free Video Converter". Well, came back to edit this as I don't know what you use to film with. I use iPhone. Soooo this may not apply to you but ----This in turn helps it upload to youtube a little faster, some cutting them in half to upload for time. For my last 30 minute video it took 15 minutes. Before changing it over to mp4 it would have taken 40 minutes. I have a Mac Pro. Great way to use the label thingies--lol-now I will have to keep those as they come in now and then!! Hugs Gayle!

Hi Gayle, love your videos, I watch daily. It is most likely your internets upload speed that is the problem. You should be able to check your upload speed on your internet service providers website, or use one online by just googling internet speed test.

Here are some instructions videos on your iPhone, you can upload them right to RU-vid using the RU-vid app, or the RU-vid Capture app (which lets you add join multiple videos into one video). But on a MacBook, the best you can do is import the video into iMovie and then export from that to RU-vid. I, too, wish you could just export from Photos to RU-vid.

maybe its the firewall settings on your macbook slowing it down, or if you have a router maybe the router or macbook needs to be configured so they connect efficiently. we have several pcs in our household and when one had issues and not the other, it was normally one of those things. ask someone to help or call customer support for either internet provider, modem/router or macbook. Hope you figure it out

I love my Mac Book Pro...and the apple support is amazing. They will help you and walk you through ANYTHING. Also if you live close to an apple store they offer free classes and you can learn with "in person help" for many many topics.

Gayle- I watched that movie on Netflix and was also surprised by his brilliance, his ability to avoid the police and yes- his obvious mental illness. How much the FBI learned from Ted Bundy- thank goodness they were just starting their "serial killer" studies and realized the importance of state-to-state communication. Yes- dark subject matter, but so interesting -- and you were in the area while he was on the lose- how scary!! Thank you for sharing your experience during that time- interesting to hear a person's perspective who was going to college during that time. Ok-- now on to something a little less dark--- LOL This is a super fun tutorial and a great piece of ephemera-- and after doing one- I would imagine the next will go quicker.

Ann Rule wrote a fascinating book about Ted Bundy called The Stranger Beside Me. She is a true crime writer and actually worked with him at a suicide prevention center in Washington around that time.

Super fun envelope pocket Gayle! I wish I had an answer about your upload issue with the MacBook Pro. Clearly there is something different that needs to be done with the MacBook than what you do with the Windows computer. It’s probably something small, a setting that needs to be changed or something. Crossing my fingers that someone can point you in the right direction!

Sounds like your Safari browser isn't set right. Right click on Safari's tool bar at the top of the browser window and select customize tool bar. See if that will help.

One thing you might want to do is make sure your video resolution is set to “high” instead of “best”...and then the second is to try hard wire to your modem or router, instead of using WiFi...

Re: issues with your mac. I would suggest you call mac help direct. I tried to copy the link, however could not. So ..... 1. go to Safari and open 2. you will see a choice of places to go. 3. click on Apple 4. click on support 5. scroll down until you see "How can we help" 6. click on 'get support' 7. select the mac product you need help with. 8. click again and select yet again 9. click again and select the problem 10. select the way you would like to communicate. I have found speaking with them by telephone is great ... they are very patient and will help you until the issue is solved. Have your mac on hand and notebook and pen. They usually talk you through it until it's fixed when you are on line with them. Good Luck!! I have had great success with them. I now see by the date this is a May video -- you have probably solved the issue by now. DUH.

If you have an iPad you can make the video and upload it without using a computer. I make 15 minute videos and it only takes about 5 minutes to upload it to RU-vid. You can make videos longer than 15 minutes.

Call Apple and they will talk you through any problems you are having. You can also go to an Apple store for instructions from an Apple employee. I have gotten answers to computer issues this way very effectively.

Hi Gayle - Not sure if this will help - but maybe. My videos are not near as long as yours and I have hit the same problem - slow loading to RU-vid. I hit the refresh icon and yes, it started over - but it loaded in a reasonable amount of time. I think sometimes RU-vid like everything else gets overloaded or has a glitch. So, that being said - I don't know if that what's happening to you or if this will work for you - but it did work for me. Now, if I think it's ever loading too slow, I refresh the page and it works right away. I see someone else commented that it might be your internet - of course that's a real possibility also.

Hi Gayle, I’m not sure if I said anything before to you about the NighHawk Modem it is AAAmazing. It runs $199 at Cosco. It is to take me 6-7 hours to load up to YT now it is less than 2 min for a 30 minute video and less than 5 for an hour video. When we buy new computers our routers and Modems can’t handle all the new Technology. We need to update everything. If you would have just got gotten a new modem you would have been ok but New is good they say we new to update out technology every 6 years. You don’t need to condense files just the new modem is your answer to all of your problems I guarantee it are used to have the worst upload ever.

I don't think it's the computer. Contact your internet provider, explain the problem and see if they have a solution.

Could it be your router? We had to buy a new router (we have at&t) because our old one was just to old for our upgraded internet speed and at that time we also had a new computer. Hope you figure it out.

What is your WiFi speed? I have a MAC and mine load within an hour. Maybe 2 hours if they are longer but I use iMovies to load. Did that come on your MAC. I would totally be willing to help you via phone if you want.

Who is your cable/internet provider? I used to have super slow internet, until I checked with my internet provider and got unlimited data and the fastest speeds...just a thought

It is likely your internet connection. What's your internet speed? Call your internet provider and tell them what's going on. They should be able to walk you through trouble shooting.

Where do get envelopes with the square window. The ones I’ve found have more of longer window and narrow.thank you

it actually sounds like your internet is the issue. if your internet is still older (cable) and not fiber optics.. its going to take along time.. The computer is really only used for editing and such.. but the sending and receiving is going to need faster internet/cable lines. You've said you live more out in the country and not in the city.. which means you probably don't have high speed transfer rate.. the computer/laptop is simply holding the basket so to speak as the internet takes each section of your video out and sends it down the line.. think of it as a funnel.. older internet cable lines have a pin hole so you can only send so much data at one... high speed has a super wide hole and you can dump tons at once... I suggest calling your cable place and talk to them about your lines etc.. Hope that helps and you are able to find a solution that works for you..
