In this video we are building a desert scrapyard compound! Perfect for your Orks, Ash Waste Muties, or post apocalyptic misfits of any stripe! I am going to be using these pieces for games of Warhammer 40k, Necromunda and Gorkamorka, but they would work wonderfully for Kill Team, Bolt Action or Gaslands or any other game that takes place in a dystopian or modern setting. #orktober #novembork #nobvember

Lovely stuff! the crane is genius, such a recongisable shape. Something for you to try - I add Vallejo pigment powder directly to the spackle, plus some cheap grey primer, pva glue and sand. Mix it all together and the idea is to do an all-in-one coat that saves time and drying steps. You can 'water it down' with more pva/paint, or thicken with more spackle for different uses. Its similar to adding brown paint like in your desert terrain video, but you don't need much pigment, its cheap and theres a decent range of colours.

This is brilliant! Wish I’d known about the parchment paper no stick thing sooner.... Looks like our bits boxes are very similar lol. My nephews bring me all sorts of broken toys or ones they don’t play with any more and i find heaps of interesting cheap things at the op shop (thrift store) My future brother in law is a crane operator, he calls it a ‘cab’ though he likes the idea of calling it a cockpit. 😂
