Looks like a lot of sweat equity you put into that old Atlas. Nice work. Careful with the reverse. Lathes with the thread on type chucks can unscrew when put in reverse. I’ve seen it happen when the lathe is in reverse and then shut off. Most people will never have a need for reverse on a lathe.

Good point, my mini lathe did not have reverse. My larger tsuagami does with bison 8" chuck does. Almost had it come off when I was testing my cnc conversion.
