I love your tree and that's a great way to use up extra buttons. I don't have buttons, but I recently found a big glass jar in my garage that my husband uses for extra nuts, bolts, nails, and pennies. So I'm going to make my tree using pennies that have a ready pretty patina on them from being in the jar with the now rusty nails. I will make it and pack it away for next year.
