I know how you feel bro. I lost my mam in June of last year. I’m a disabled guy. She was my carer 34 years she had been sick for 7 years. I’m 42 now. My mam was my best friend

Lost my mum in August so my first without her. Lucky to have wonderful husband and son to keep me going! It’s tough but we are all so strong. Much love to you and all your family. Xx

Feeling your pain brother. I lost my dad around this time of year in 2011. And my sister passed away 2 years ago so I do think of them loads this time of year. Your mum is watching down and very proud of the man you have become. Its not easy dropping Ireland your home and going away and living a life else where. Take it easy buddy and happy Christmas 🎄

God Bless you Daniel. Your Mom may not be with you physically but she is always in your heart and is looking down on you and watching over you. I lost my brother who was 11 months younger than me in 1978 (he was 14 and I was 15) Christmas has never been the same since, then in 2006 I lost my Mom and Dad within 6 days of each other. So Christmas for me is always hard and not a time I deal with very well. As time goes by, the pain will still be there but it does get not as sharp. My thoughts and best wishes are with you and Sahar. Be there for each other ❤

Thanks for your Xmas wishes Daniel, I've lost both my parents a good while ago ! We weren't a close family as my father was blinded in WW2 , my mum had four kids to look after as well as my dad ! So I always count my blessings and have the frame of mind to think that there's always someone worse off than myself ! The circle of life goes on ! Daniel I lost my dad over 20 years ago on Xmas eve he was as an amazing dad and know as you’ve met me I’m an old fart and yes it’s best to reach out I have two amazing sons who we love very much but sending our Peace to you and your mum is always in your heart ❤️

Oh Daniel, I wish I had seen this yesterday. I was so low the only thing that could have brought me back was a hug from a certain loved one. I have lost so much over the last few years and all I have left between me and oblivion now is the love given to me by my 7 year Old granddaughter. At that age,all hugs are innocent and come from the heart. I was lucky yesterday, she gave me many hugs, but it could have been so different. Thank you Daniel for your Christmas message, it made so much difference to so many, me included. You are truly one of the Good guys, all the best to you brother and to all those who matter to you, love to share, and all the best for you both, you deserve it.

Lovely words Daniel, both my mum and dad died months after being ill at Christmas at different times, my father in law died before Christmas suddenly so Christmas is always bittersweet for us. My father met his first grandchild before he died, also Daniel. Anyway you and Sahar keep your mums in your heart and perhaps visit a special place you know or find somewhere different just to think about them tomorrow. Aww I'm so sorry to hear this. I know just how you feel, I lost my parents with 17 months in between them I am disabled so I saw my mum most days. It gets easier I promise and your left with amazing memories that no one can take away from you. Be strong and try and enjoy yourself she would want you to. Take care. X
