Craig's absolutely right on with Tumea & Sons' lasagna. It has great meat in it. It's one of the better lasagnas you'll get in Des Moines. Also love stopping it at Graziano's for their bulk sausage and their giardenera. You have a great day, too, my friend!
Ya know what, in some grocery stores there's frozen Mexican Lasagna! That will throw our lad Craig for a loop! (maybe Walmart) [it's just different cheeses, I think … it's not very spicy]
Very impressive grocery and butcher! Id shop there often if I lived near there. Love the restaurant! Old school lounge and photos etc on the walls. Food looked delicious! I think I recall you getting your dinner from there for Easter or some holiday. I enjoyed the birds and the rest of the video also.
You guys have found a hidden gem. Been going since they opened in 98 and am really close friends with the Tumea family as well as the grazianos as well glad you guys enjoyed it 😊
That Chicken Romano looked really good !! I'd like to try that someday, i'm going to check where i can get it. I've always been curious about the Graziano's sausage, you make it sound good !! Seems like a great store to visit with all their nice products. Craig can add a couple of really cool comics to his collection, what a cool gift !! ❤
For the Lasagna shop, we can rely on Craig to give the typical review. But I think Craig's Mom (Nancy?) has a more reviewer's-eye towards places, which I appreciate.
Wonderful Catholic family restaurant. #1 in my book. I am from a large Catholic family. I went to private Catholic school until high school. I was not leaving home to live with another family to go to the Mount in Little Rock.
Bongiorno, Ms. Nancy, I love an amazing parmigiana especially chicken and was the beautiful entree of Romano exceptional? You are looking quite beautiful, all of you. Are Bernie, Penny and Bug, Eggs and Midge all very well - I love images of them, please feature a bit more por favore. And does Mr. JV have any Southern influence in his background, he has a tad swagger of Southern in his tonation although in recent Adventureland venture as he was sipping a beer, he said you are both from near Knoxville, IA, yes? And send a beautiful wave to little beauties, Josie, Stephanie, Colby and Livy (correct spellings for all?). Truly, God keep you - safe traveling. Grazie.
Hi Christina! The chicken Romano was so good!! It was indeed exceptional. Joe and I both grew up in Knoxville, Iowa. We are both of Dutch descent and my father came here from Germany when he was 16. Sadly our cat Bug died a couple of months ago but the rest of the pets are doing great 😊❤️
