As a French I can confirm, Audrey Tautou is just as adorable and cute -if not more- when she speaks French. She has this typical body language and physique your find in the French provincial girl. We really love her here.
I love how she as a french human being doesn't make any kind of effort to pretend to be like american people and joke around the entire interview. Genuine.

What's wonderful about Craig here is, he managed to simplify his usual banter enough for his guest without it being at all condescending. And Audrey clearly enjoyed her visit here.
Her movie Emelie is, and always will be, in my top 5. Really great film; wonderful acting, writing, and score. Should've won the Oscar (I think it was up for it).
They managed to turn the awkwardness into a vibe for awhile there. Tautou may not know a lot of English but she has pretty good comic timing in the language. And she knows how to get laughs by saying she doesn't understand.
Craig might be even better than Carson when interviewing females. Both were undoubtedly superb. Mademoiselle Tautou ...talented, charming and beautiful!

despite the occasional awkward pause due to her imperfect understanding of dialect and popular US references, they manage an engaging conversation - for Craig. but then he is known for the odd turns and awkward bits in his 'interviews''. she even engages in a few delightful turns with him. she is a gorgeous and talented lady.
Audrey is a kind of person that you would ever get tired of looking at, or listening to.. Can't say the same about Craig Fergusons interviewing skills.. What does anybody else think. ? !
she was in a movie called "Amelie." It's a very successful film, and it made montremare famous (at least to me in the US). She doesnt like going there because people will freak out because she's hanging out there!
It's normal that she was nervous... She isn't a native English spaker and she tryed be understandable although people didn't stop laugh and the interviewer just tell her jokes. Poor Audrey; She's lovely and an amazing woman. Sure that people don't know any language far away English... Learn from Audrey! ;)
