Happy New Year! May you have a 2018 you're content with. Craig Ferguson investigates his audience in the cold open for entertainment purposes, and if they are lucky, they will get to eat at a fancy restaurant at CBS expense. Enjoy!
I wish to God I could stay up till 12:30 tonight and watch this show again. I loved it when it was on, now I realize how great it is was. Totally took it for granted.
I bet there's a million or so people that think exactly the same. What do you think to James Corden? I know his carpool karaoke was a genius idea (I wonder who's it actually was), but he does such a different show to Craig. I dunno if it's an unpopular opinion but, oh well, I see it almost like one show is for adults and the other for kids. Hope you're good.
@@MrMiD.Life.Crisis Doing well thx , Mid . Hope you're good as well. Carpool Karaoke was def a good idea and entertaining but not my cup of tea lol. I gave Corden a shot and it's not for me. However I can see why the ppl that like him do.
@@nathanarievlis3985 yeh im all good thanks. I think both me and you are maybe not kiddy enough to enjoy Corden as much as we do others. I don't rate any of the current late night hosts if Conan has finished (has he finished hosting his late night show?). Maybe Kimmel is my favourite now. Shame Jimmy Carr, Dave Chappelle or Ricky Gervais don't host their own show. Although if either did, they would probably have so many lawsuits that they couldn't afford to continue. Is there any American comedians that you recommend me to watch? (pls). My favourite American comedians are mostly old ones that are long gone (Carlin, Prior, Williams - RIP), and my favourite comedians atm are Burr, Carr (Jimmy), Jefferies, Boyle, Chappelle and Gervais. I don't know enough about current American comedy tho as I live in England atm.
@@MrMiD.Life.Crisis lol we're pretty similar in respect to comedy. If you're not familiar with Joey Diaz , check him out he's been around a long time. Bert Kreisher the (prob killed the spelling lol ) but his The Machine story is good place to start, his latest special on Netflix was great too.
@@nathanarievlis3985 aaah yes, I've watched a lot of clips of Joey! Never a show. Just seen his podcast. I've started watching norm macdonald recently, although I find him kinda frustrating. I've never heard of Bert k. I will search tho. Also I forgot to mention Al Murray, he's pretty funny. Last guys I went to see were Peter kay and Michael macintyre, but i would put them in the cordon category, only funnier. Very kid friendly material. Altho Peter kay was really funny, better than I expected. If you haven't seen it, I think it's on RU-vid - Peter kay misheard lyrics. It's worth a watch. I realised that pretty much all my favourite comedians are english and there must be a massive amount of US comedians I'm missing out on. As we do share a similar taste, if you think of any pls write them in here if you ever get chance please mate. I would massively appreciate it!
💯 he is a true comedian. But sadly I think you could tell that he wasn't the biggest fan of Hollywood and like John Stewart he stepped away gracefully when he did to avoid the coming storm of PC "cancel culture." After he stepped away from the late late show is about the time the media started the roll towards where we are at the moment.
Wow, there is so much guess work going on in this thread. You people are acting like Craig is some stalwart conservative who “saw the evils of pc over the horizon”.... the guy is good friends with famous atheist liberal Stephen Fry, who was on the show. Dont get me wrong, i think all of the culture war is ridiculous waged by idiots including the “pc” brigade... whatever that is... but i doubt Craig got outta the game because he saw the “libs” coming for him
At 24:30 - the woman is a quite well known actress in Denmark, name is Birgitte Raaberg. Her filmography isn't that long, but she's been in a couple of things that are very popular in Denmark.
So many ppl including myself wonder why he's not on anymore. But then I realise he's been doing it for a good 10 years or so and wanted to do something else and more power to him for it. Doesn't SEEM like that long cos the show is so much fun so we all go "Why did he leave?" I can watch 2hr replay of him interviewing the same guest over a dozen appearances and it seems like 10min....miss this dude and his entourage of misfits 😥😂
You are the cooolest Jay Leno Fly!! Thank you for keeping my favorite Craigie, Geoff, Secretariat and the Racist alive!!! I'm one happy ChickeyMonkey 😍👍👍😂😂
For one, he made it available for me! I am an Indian and I didn't know about him. So I know this guy now. I started watching Craig's new web series, and its great! I wouldn't have seen it if not for The JayLenoFly. Secondly, he is compiling them, he is putting in effort to put it in context, its an analysis. This could be a philosophical thesis on the level of deconstruction that Craig went through to get to the core of late night show. Which I am sure he would laugh off by saying, he didn't work at all, but I am sure to be this unconventional, and yet to appeal to people, you need to work a lot. I get to have this perspective because of JLF.
You know what mate, to each his own. I mean you can be a fan of both. The relationship you are staying true to is a unidirectional relationship. Fergufool doesn't really care if you like both him and JLF, I'm sure..
I'm watching these videos, forgetting they are years old, and for a brief moment wondering why nobody's wearing a face mask!! Pandemic has me so screwed-up! Beginning to forget better times really existed. Messed up.
carson was n was the king of late nite. craig ferguson rite up there with carson. i wish cbs would try and get ferguson to come bak. or maybe one of the other networks.
