This may be an odd place for me to come after finding out that Florian Schneider of Kraftwerk passed away this past week, but I find it strangely comforting. I like to think that he knew about these parodies, and that he found them as funny as I do. RIP, Florian...
I am a Kraftwerk fan, you would think I would be offended. I laughed so hard tears were coming out of my ocular devices! I really liked that part at the beginning " what did you get me for Christmas? ", " the meaning of life. ", " there's nothing there. "
They would be the first ones to laugh at this. Appearing serious was their way of saying we are not taking any of this seriously. The fact that there is such a skit should tell us all how much of an influence they have been.
RU-vid takes me on some crazy adventures, I was listening to Mexican Doomer music mix, came upon a Latin song called mr.coconut, a tribute to Kraftwerk, and I never seen these skits even though I binged on Craig Ferguson before.
I loved Craig, he came up w the coolest puns. Zis I could watch 4 eva. I'm a giant KWerk fan and German . Zey shud add Her Karl oder tsa neu guy Henning, yah vud of been grate!
Even though Ralf Hutter was founder and Florian Schneider was co-founder of Kraftwerk, Craig Ferguson should have two guys standing in the background as Wolfgang Flur and Karl Bartos who did electronic percussion. Still, very funny and classic! I never saw these skits on Craig Ferguson's show. (43 thumbs down. Dummkopfs!!)
ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-DCdip0L7Ye8.html underground, that would be awesome 👍🏻👍🏻stumbled across this interesting character who dissects and reacts to great music 😊he has an eclectic taste you might enjoy!
To people who don't know German, probably yes. I can tell it's not real. I think the pronunciation of that single "word" sounds pretty good. Some of the words inside are real German words, yeah? Like eben, Laden, Hause, lachen, Boden....
Florian was bald pretty much from the beginning, so I don’t understand the big mop top hair. But otherwise they were funny, though the bondage references were not.
What's with the random forced sexual humor? Kraftwerk is like the most unsexual music group ever... if you want to use the same jokes making fun of Germans being sadomasochists and make it work, this should be "Christmas with Rammstein."
The British have always, since WWII, characterized the Germans as being a sadomasochistic and rigid, cold group of people. They also did that in Allo Allo, but then with the Nazis. Very old-fashioned stereotyping and hypocritic of them that they're still doing this in more recent years and with Kraftwerk. In fact, in reality it's the stiff upper lipp and victorian British who keep up appearances, but secretly enjoy extreme SM sex. Besides that, Kraftwerk's members were more human than the average member of the British Conservative party and they didn't take their robots act and other themes thát serious: they produced it with a sence of humour. People who don't see that don't know Kraftwerk's members and music.
“I vill hit my-zelf with it until I achieve climax.” Hoooo-wheee! Now, that’s whatcha call a good old fashioned knee slapper! And just in case you didn’t think it was funny the first time...BAM! They hit you with it, again. I mean, it’s almost like they couldn’t be bothered to come up with an actual punchline for the second part of the exchange. But seriously, folks. Some of these jokes are so ridiculously telegraphed, Western Union could sue for copyright infringement.
ehhh nice try... copied from SNL and Sprockets... not funny to me but nice Kraftwerk uniforms... Ferguson.,,, you could have come up with something funnier man...loved and watched your show!
