I kind of understand Craig's statement about the best graplers being authistic. Craig is creative, fun and goes with a flow. But being the best one needs to drill the basics and own strenghts over and over again. Dull grind vs fun flow.
Side on body angle + lat engagement are most important. I prefer grabbing my own foot with it Dorsey flexed like how Craig Jones does it because it allows me to keep side on and get a decent squeeze
@@ramonveltmeijer9961 Yeah check out the ruotolo bros buggy choke vid (2nd half) they talk about doing a side-ways crunch. Depending on your body type you might prefer either triangle-ing your legs or just grabbing your own foot. Spend like a month or two giving white and blue belts side-control and practice catching them with it.
