Some hate fighting Marduk. I hate playing him because of an incident where I lost 5 times with Marduk to Lili in Tekken 5: Dark Resurrection's story mode. And I got demoted from 1st dan to 1st kyu. That was the last time I played Marduk in my whole life.
@@ladyonfire5102 Are you happy that Marduks back in action? cuz im happy as hell! :D Believe me I was upset when he was not included in Tekken 7. He was my main from Tekken 5 to Tekken Tag 2. I hoped that he would return to Tekken 7 as a future DLC. My wish came true and I screamed in excitement when he was announced. @@kingsley2837 I don't like the fact every tekken 6 newcomers is in tekken 7 except Zafina, she deserve a chance in another tekken game like all characters do, she is an amazing, original, unique character with a wonderful fighting style and personality, I'm glad Marduk joins to tekken 7 but instead of him I wanted Zafina she deserve another chance in tekken so I'm upset Marduk take a place in tekken and she don't, and Harada is ignoring everything about Zafina isn't fair. Plus Gigas have some moves of Marduk I'm tired of copy-paste characters in tekken I want original ones like Zafina original and unique 100% nobody can replace her.
@@ladyonfire5102 Actually the problem was that most characters were replaced with newer ones as form of replacement with similar moveset. Gigas has most move animations similar to marduk but he wasn't that much of a balanced character. Marduk had a more unique and balanced gameplay as well as an awesome moveset which makes him superior to Gigas. Harada had mentioned in an interview that he personally loves Marduk and cannot be replaced so that is the reason he was brought back as he realized his mistake and the fact that Gigas is a complete failure as no one plays him(Poor usage rate).Josie is a bruce clone. She has moves similar to bruce but she is better than Gigas interms of replacing the original character. She is a successful replacement. I had read somewhere about Zafina that the real reason for her absence is that she had low demand by the fans. I was surprised about this that she had a decent moveset as well as an awesome gameplay so for me I was shocked as she didn't comeback. But Harada said that there will be 6 seasons so missing characters will be back. Tekken 7 was criticized at first due to fan favourite characters(Marduk,Lei,Anna,Armour king, Julia, and much more), The season 1 pass was a complete failure with unneccesary content(Bowling etc). The season 2 had somehow revived the game with fan favourites coming back. Marduk,Lei,Anna,AK and Julia have somehow revived the game and Tekken 7 is much better than ever. Zafina will be back for next season hopefully.
@@kingsley2837 but Zafina is more popular than Marduk trust me, I saw a lot of people requesting in all social medias this 5 characters a lot (Zafina, Anna, Julia, Lei and AK) all the time I didn't see so many Marduk requests... But yeah I hope in the future Zafina, Kunimitsu and ganryu return they deserve it and even more Zafina.
