This video takes me back to my days in Detroit with Rev. James Marks and Ronnie Kersey and the Voices of Heaven hangin out with the late Rev. (Porky) Charles and Lindsey. My goodness - singing from the back of the church. Choirs don't do it like that anymore.

You know Detroit, I LOVE YALL. Shut them things up from Los Angelas... They always sing this song(We Are On OUr Way) at GMWA like they own it. Well, last I checked the history books, James Cleveland was in Detroit before he went to LA. Its great that they sing it in honor of him, but they should not carry it like they own it; because THESE CHILLEN are out singing all 450 plus of them west coast dramatists.
James Cleveland was minister of Music at Craig Memorial Tabernacle which is the prior that you're hearing currently James Cleveland used the Tabernacle voices on most of his albums
