Arteta's has, on more than one occasion, pushed his team to rough up the opposition. That isn't new or surprising, but it has come back to bite the Gunners before. A few seasons back Arsenal were sitting 4th going into May and then they played Tottenham. Arteta had Holding in particular go after Son in what appears to have been an effort to get Son to retaliate which might send him off and they were close to getting Son to do just that. But, even as Holding walked away from his altercation with Son with a smug smile on his face they were dealt a red card that ended the Gunners chances and they lost to Spurs. Even after that loss they were still up on Spurs but they went and lost the next match to a mid table team giving Spurs 4th and dropping Arsenal to 5th. So, Arteta sometimes screws his own team by commanding bad behavior.

If Arsenal didn't score there they still would have scored somewhere else.

There were two players down on the ground. The free kick was not taken that far from the Arsenal player nearest the camera. The other Arsenal player was a long way away, I agree, but that was not where the free kick had to be taken from.

Doku was looking at the referee and played it softly along the ground towards where the ref pointed and so was never a card. If Arsenal hadnt been faking injuries and wasting time City wouldnt have had 9 minutes to score. Also , why isnt more made of Arteta having team talks during matches ?
