I love the label, anything that looks like it came from the 1800's will get me everytime, of course that's why they make it that way. Great review 👍

Yeah, I worked on the sound to minimise the wind noise. I have another mic setup that’s better but uh… the batteries were dead. Sigh…

The nice thing is that in most markets, it’s extremely reasonably priced so it’s not an expensive mistake if you don’t love it.

@@dribsanddrams I understand! That happens to me sometimes! I get so excited to trying a scotch and hope so much that it will be amazing!! I am so happy that you weren't disappointed! The 17 is also fabulous! Far more pricey which is annoying for 4 more years of ageing! Have a great day!! 🙂

Excellent review. I'm in Alberta but just bought this as a gift for a friend in Ontario from the LCBO. Sounds like he'll enjoy it and I'll definitely have to get a bottle for myself in the near future.

When i first bough this whisky , i said to myself , man, this the first whisky in my collection that i regret buying , didn't like it , a year later , on my third bottle . When it opens up after a week or. 2, i completely fell in love with it hence the 2 other purchases. The only whisky i bought that i didn't immediately like ...audio bit weird though

Agreed. The audio was a chore because I was working around some wind noise. I also went out and bought a second bottle for once this one’s done.

I love your reviews ; great job! Îm from Montreal, & i would love to see more reviews of Quebec whiskeys. Did you try the Cirka Monarque, & if so, what’s your opinion on it? Do you have a whiskey review channel in French? Keep up the good reviews !

I haven’t tried the Monarque yet! I almost bought it a couple of weeks ago, but there was something else there that I wanted and didn’t have the $ for two bottles. I have a bottle of their Whisky N°2, and it’s great. I don’t have a French channel no might do one at done point, but not sure.

Just over a week ago. Then it got stankin’ hot. Then it got cool and rainy. You should be able to find this one; it’s pretty common.
