What a complementary duo. Zuri’s voice has a soft and husky timbre with amazing agility, whilst Jeffrey is a powerhouse belter with phenomenal range, effortlessly sustaining and resonating notes in the fifth octave.
It’s March 24th of 2020 and we are in a PANDEMIC with COVID-19 and I came to this video to forget about it all!! Y’all BETTA SANG!!!!!!! 🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽
If someone told you that a cellphone video of two guys in a stairwell singing an acapella version of the Brady Bunch theme song would be the BEST SOUL MUSIC YOU'VE HEARD since Marvin Gaye left us - would you believe it ???? Watch and believe.
That this grouuup must somehow form a family... that's the way, that's the way, that's the WAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY HEY-EY-EYYYY YEAHHHHHH" gah I love that part.
watched this when it was first was posted loved it then. but when i saw them on the xfactor i was like i know them from some where. couldnt believe it was the same two men i had watched in middle school. They are awesome.
I love to hear Black people sing. The things they can do with their voices is so fascinating to me. The best singing people on the earth. Just my humble opinion.
You don't get good because of your skin, they got good because of their vocal training ^^' It take a lot of training and motivation to get nearly as good as this. If a white man or asian man would be raise in the same place, have the same training they would sound exactly the same because vocal cords aren't different. Each skin color have their excellent vocalists, white have Natalie Weiss, Mónica Naranjo and Vanessa Amorosi. Black have Aretha Franklin, Patti LaBelle and Tiffany Mosley (not sure she would be excellent because i only hear her mixed voice but she sound like it), Asian have Sohyang, Sohyang and Sohyang again ^^' (i don't know any other excellent vocalist in Asia) As for now, there is no male that would fill the requirement for excellent but there is some that would be considered great (Peabo Bryson, Naul, Park Hyo Shin, Jung Dongha and David Phelps for example)
ph008 bullshit, some things you are born with. Training can only enhance what's already in you. When it comes to singing, Blacks tend to be able to use their voices better and tend to be more soulful. Each race has things that are unique to it, singers are usually better in the Black race.
Trina Dee Soulful is subjective. Use their voice ? That's technique and everything can be learn, Go read and you will learn that first skin color isn't race, it's ethnicity and that our vocal cords doesn't have any single difference. We have some minor physical difference that doesn't affect how we sing at all. There is a reason why two opera singers no matter what ethnicity will sound the almost same if they have the same training+ the exact same vocal type
ph008 totally not true. Blacks sing from their souls, the textured voices of Blacks is unique to Blacks. We express and phrase differently from other people. For example, i can talk to a Black person on the phone without ever seeing them and know instantly they are Black. We are just a naturally soulful people, we are born with it. Others study us and imitate us, it does not come natural to outsiders. Just a natural fact.
Trina Dee Ask any competent Speech Pathologist about it. The difference in the speaking part is because people will imitate the environnement they are from, hence why a lot of black people speak like white when they are raised in a white family without anyone black around them. Soulful is subjective. Some people may feel it while some won't. It's like saying God was a science fact, it's not. You can believe black people are born with (soul) but the fact is,the whole soulful thing is subjective.
It just does not make any type of sense how amazing your voices sound. You guys even had the nerve to take this song to church!! I love it, I am a singer and wish I could do the riffs and rolls you guys do!! Keep singing!! =)
Oh! They are a duo?? That explains their performance chemistry. They respond to each other in a way that only people who have experience working together do. I was watching them in Madea's Big Happy Family and they was so in-tuned it was amazing...
So I watched Tyler Perry's Big Happy Family the other day and I was like OMG that's the two guys from youtube singing Brady Bunch. Congrats on that. You fellas are truly amazing and have a very amazing voice. Your voices give me the chills every time I hear you two sing. Your range, pitch, tone is beyond on point!!! I really hope to see a cd coming from you all soon!!! Keep it up!
When men can hit high notes, its a dichotomy. Women,, like Cindy Lauper, who hit low notes, make them successful. Nice job but, hey, I'd like to hear him do the Beverly Hillbillies theme song...lol
Why do I feel like i'm in church right now and this is just the freakin brady bunch song?!?! Lol you guys killed this song!! That was amazing!! Keep it up!!
Saw them when they were here in Detroit in Tyler Perry's play! They sung Gnarls Barkley "Crazy" and let me tell you they sang the hell out of that song!
You guys are good, i watch this over and over again, keep up the good work, god has something in store for yall, ive never heard voices like that yall should try out for americas got talent. May god bless
I am SOOOOOOOO proud of ya'll!!!!! Be blessed! In the meantime, I will continue to pray that God opens and closes the exact doors that you need for success!!!!!! Much Love!!!!
