I've been digging the TCG content Mr. Cool. I have also recently started learning it and it's super fun, I love seeing a new deck every game and getting destroyed by it

After a tragic tournament defeat with Miraidon, Comfey selected the more competent choice of a single water energy over Jimothy Cool, who is now banished to the Lost Zone. Anyway, on the turn after they KO'd your radiant gren with cresselia, you could have promoted the comfey with the rescue board into the active spot instead of iron hands. Its free retreat means it's just an extra ability use at no cost and you could have dug one flower selecting deeper with your switches for boss's orders to pull up drifloon. On that note, you definitely were right to recognize drifloon as the best target since it was their only way to one-shot Iron Hands on board and they made the arguable mistake of committing the bravery charm to it prematurely. You're learning fast--keep it up, Jim.

Others have said but sequencing is hard yeah. The turn you used pokegear you should have used greninja first, since you got hit with Iono and that card makes you put your hand at the BOTTOM of the deck, that means you had higher odds of drawing into Boss as long as you don't shuffle your deck. So using pokegear will shuffle all those cards back into the deck and then you draw 2 after, whereas if you use gren first you essentially are getting to look at the top 9 cards without getting any cards in your pre-iono'd hand

At 10:25 you should draw with Greninja first, then use the Pokégear. This increases the chance of a supporter card appearing in the first seven cards.

Solid victory. I think it's weird the Gardi deck didn't played Flutter Mane, which shots down your whole strategy. I think you had chances to power up the Iron Hands earlier to start knocking out and put them under some pressure, like lost vacuum your own stadium to get 7 cards in the lost zone and have Mirage Gate as soon as possible, that usually is the game plan. Maybe a Canceling Cologne can help against Manaphy if you want to snipe the bench with Greninja (sniping the Kirlias before they evolve can be game winning against Gardi). Cant wait to see you getting better and better!

This is a cool deck!! It's neat to see how other TCGs interact with the GY and exile, very unusual to be able to treat exile as a resource so directly

Sequencing is one of the harder parts of the TCG, as the order of your actions is so significant (I'm still personally learning this after 10+YRS of gameplay!). Lost Zone sequencing is especially important, on the turn you whifted Pokegear using it before the Pokestop would have gotten you a Supporter that got discarded instead.

I'm trying out the TCG live myself thanks to Jim loaning me enough horsepower to install the game. I've been playing Chein Pao, Charizard, and trying Dragapult. Really want to build Regidrago, but that deck is expensive to make

Iron thorns completely shuts down the gardevoir matchup so leading it would completely end their strategy. The energy engine is a rule box pokemon, so the entire strategy just shuts down. On the placement turn there should have been an iron thorns being placed

using greninja before pokestop or flower selecting is usually the correct sequencing also vs gardevoir you never lost zone the sableye super rod is more valuable than cramorant usually another thing if the opponent has for example 100 damage on a drifloon with bravery charm, using lost vacuum on the drifloon gives you a free prize

Could you not use the trainer card to pull two electric while you place a double colorless before using the trainer card. So you put the double, then the two electric, thus it's a turn one four energy.
