This looks so good. I find with most of your recipes that the vegan ingredients are interchangeable with regular ones too which is really handy for those times when i dont have the vegan ingredient on hand or can't find it in the supermarket.
Hey, I don't care if you're vegan. I am perfectly capable of baking myself. I just like watching your videos for base ideas, and I definitely have learned a lot watching your videos. :)
I don't see why anyone is hating on the vegan recipes. As Gretchen pointed out, vegan baking has many interchangeable ingredients for those who are looking to make it with animal based products, but for those who haven't tried vegan desserts, don't knock it 'till you try it. Vegan chocolate zucchini bread is one of the best desserts I've ever had, and vegans have to really get creative with their recipes to work around the lack of animal based products. More power to you Gretchen, you're doing a wonderful thing.

im not vegan and would like to use eggs. You should also give the alternate ingredients and directions for those who are regular bakers. this looks like a delicious cheesecake recipe but im not vegan so I wont be able to make this.

Im not sure why you think it looks soggy, I can assure you it was not. It was very crunchy and delicious, what a perfect contrast to that creamy cheesecake
Thanks but, No, Im not really trying to be much of a "store" just keeping inventory alone is a nightmare with the cake kits, I would not want to deal in food, plus Im pretty sure you need special licensing to sell food

Veganized recipes are unnecessarily complicated for home cooks who do not stock specialized ingredients. Maybe you offer non-vegan alternatives to your vegan recipes, or at least a trigger warning.
mrtodd3620 If you can't find vegan cream cheese use regular cream cheese ...it's not that difficult. Also (so far) the majority of Gretchen's recipes on the blog aren't even vegan. FYI I'm not vegan but it's nice when you find recipes which more people can eat and share.
If you can read the description below the video and also go to the blog to get the recipe you will see I offer the conversions. But I understand it is just easier for people to get upset at me. By the way I did "trigger a warning" but not everyone sees every single video I put out, or follows me on my email list or Patreon or facebook where I have alerted people several times. So short of calling up everyone of my 100,000+ subscribers (of which I have no phone numbers anyway....) I am not sure what else I can do? But since you did not get the memo when I did alert everyone, here you go, I have been vegan for a while now and I have been super conflicted with my channel not being in alignment with my life and my beliefs I am transitioning my channel/blog to align with my beliefs, I have been veg for 8+ years and have been in severe conflict here on my channel AND when I owned my bakery by promoting the exploited animal industry, so I finally "got off the fence" and decided to stop being a hypocrite and follow my heart and soul passion. I understand not everyone cares to be open to this kind of baking (although I have been making some of my BEST recipes more recently!) So I hope and wish that folks will be open minded and give me the same understanding for following my heart. This has not been the case 100% so far, as I have sadly been met with anger and hatred However others have been showing tremendous support and encouragement. I hope you will at least give it a chance. :) I will not eliminate my old recipes and will still help you all with baking of any kind just like always! I hope you do stick around because just as easily as you can VEGANIZE a recipe, you can UNVEGANIZE IT!
