I work at the Bradford plant which fabricates andanufaftures Atlas cranes. They're awesome bits of kit and a cracking company to work for. Great to see them in use.
Anywhere from 15k to 45k. A lot depends on your specifications. At Atlas cranes, we build our cranes to customers specifications, but the smallest crane we manufacture retails at approximately 15k, but they're rarely bought. The 10m+ boom cranes are 25-35k, and the longer boom cranes can go up to 45k sterling.
I do this for a living, showing my little boy how these lorries work, I don't get this guy, he opened the side up, then proceeded to grab the bricks the other way anyway, he could of left the side up and saved a minute 🤔 Doesn't sound like much, but 20 deliveries a day, it soon adds up
he dropped the side so he could see properly where tu get the grab squarly on the pack of bricks i reckon,,,but he picked the pack up the wrong way round anyway,,,,,,,the way he picked it up...was wrong because if the hisb breaks the bands on the pack due to the pressure of the grab,the bands can snap,,and lose the bricks,,also grabbing it that way can break the bricks themselves,,,,nice looking strong crane though,,,better than the fassi one i use
@@darthtool8131 front loaders are shit,,when in a culdesac,,if you get the end house you have trouble delivering because usually the crane wont go past the cab...rear mounted is 10 times better
@@godetsper I've stopped it now. I delivered steel beams with hook & chain before, that was fun. Building merchant is a dead end job, you don't get out exploring and the days are pretty similar. With any hiab work, you're always looking out for phone and power lines, any obstruction that'll make it difficult to set the lorry up and get the legs out, it's fun for the crane but can be rubbish, depending who you work for and the load you have on board 👍 If you skip Building merchant and go to a decent firm, the money can be good. I'm now delivering new & used lorries around the UK, I got so bored of merchant work.
