A lot of professional animation is done in Autodesk Maya. It's a crazy expensive software but widely used for how powerful it is. If you just want to get animation, I'd recommend trying Blender out. It's free and open source, but not as polished as professional suites. Animating is pretty difficult and requires a good bit of skill, but you can learn it of you invest the time. This animation looks fairly simple, using mostly the same gear model, but the movements syncing with audio and other effects is very impressive.

sorry mate, didn't mean for it to come around in that sorta way, ofc i loved Sad Robot and other stuff, but Falling was 110% my favourite, doesn't mean the others are bad ;)
