probably my favorite example of a “tiny drop” is from whysp & underscores - regretful. the song came out almost 6 years ago now but it holds up sooo well

@@janky477Same here. Ever since that snare he’s been using from the Starstorm and Zephyr 2023 remaster, along with Hyperbeam, I’ve been a sucker for low-end snares. That snare is just so fat and impactful! It definitely cuts through the entire mix. He really needs to use that snare more! Now it’s kinda ruined listening to Chime’s older releases, even as recent as 2022, as the snares in those tracks just sound weak to me now compared to that one, because they’re more on the high-end. Am I the only one?
