I’ve missed these so much! Great to see you back again, and to hear your music again as part of the video too. I love the ghostly images of you opening the locks, it reminds me of the countless boaters doing the same thing over the years. Keep cranking it!
It's always good to see a bit of reality. I have stopped watching the channels that are always sunshine, roses, rainbows, puppy dogs, sparkles, and narrowboats. Not that I wish 50 mph gales and ice on anyone of course. If I ever make it across the pond, I'll have to ask for some Pub of the Week recommendations!
I've missed your RU-vid videos! Can't wait for your new TV series. It's so interesting to see the canals in the wintertime, I'm so used to walking the local canal paths in the spring and summer when it's busy!
The intrepid bonkers boatman cranks it again 😁....great vlog with iffy weather, bewildered ducks and a pot throwing parrot...only on Robbies channel!! 😄.... Thanks Robbie .....keep on crankin. 😊
Love seeing you again, Robbie! Awesome video and my favorite at the end!! Long time follower. Jeff, retired combat Aviation Veteran from Pennsylvania! Cheers mate!
Hi Robbie. Great to see that you can keep going despite the weather. Those locks leaked really badly. You looked like it was a struggle to get the lock gates open. Well deserved trip to the pub after such a hard day. Take care. Nick
The superimposed footage starting at 7:53 was weird at first. At first I couldn't tell what was going on and thought that the camera might be behind a window. After the boat started rounding the corner, however, the superimposition became apparent. It was quite cool actually. Nice footage!
Glad you cut thro that ice Robbie & reversed a good judgement. Our ice here this winter is only 3 foot thick not as thick as last years 4 foot but great for ice fishing still. A pint is always a welcome harbour tho 🍺🍺 74+ 🍁 fisherman / hunter Yorkshire expat
Nice one, Robbie. Although that last couple need educating about PROPER beers and ales in a pub like that. Love Harvey, looks a right character. Best wishes for calmer travels. Bazoc.
Top work Robbie, really enjoyed it. You're on my patch, at least you were, you must have filmed a couple of weeks ago as weather is more settled and warmer now. Me and the dog are often walking the Stoke Hammond/Fenny stretch. If you are still in that direction and need some supplies dropping off just let me know. Good luck to you..
Sorry to see such grotty weather for you …but nevertheless, this a real blast to have the chat …see the fading filming , the pub of the week and of course the music 🎵
I`ve just been to the pizza shop in Saxilby and their was loads of Fire Brigade and police. A boater (George) had left the pub and fell in the water. He was hanging onto his boat and they had to get an inflatable from the other side of the bank to get him. I guess they they could not lift him up for some reason.
Nice to see the basic stuff back, low shots at the locks ect. Were you flying the drone and recording between locks? or did someone do it for you? Thanks for the video , I'm watching it in Andelucia Spain where it is scorchio but I still enjoy your videos!
Hi Robbie, big fan, of the series as well as your channel. When does your yesterday series start, can't wait. p.s no better reason to push off than the pub.
I have both walked and cycled past that lovely lock keepers cottage. The Marsworth to Leighton Buzzard stretch of the GU is really pleasant. Are you coming down the Aylesbury arm, fella?
