We have a really good place in Batesville, Arkansas called Fox Creek. They have several sauces on the table to choose from. I like vinegar and even a touch of the mustard.

Jacob,those Arcade1up machines can have a riser added to them if they don't already come with one to make them adult height. The $300 ones don't come with the out of the box but they can be purchased separately for around $45

I grew up in ENC and while the vinegar style is good i think SC is on to something with the mustard, it goes better with pork IMO.

I love the Red Slaw they have in the Lexington, NC area.

I grew up near Winston Salem - so my most favorite is Lexington-Style Sauce on pulled pork with some burnt ends in the mix. In my 60 years, I've lived near Columbia, SC - and love the mustard based with their 'hash'. My first look at their was 'what is that!???', but it was very delicious. The last 27 years - been in eastern NC, and I love the vinegar based as well. While I lived near Fayetteville, I heard (so heresay - I don't know this for a fact) the Smithfield founders divorced. They both got ownership of the recipe, but wife's store changed name to "Cape Fear BBQ'. This could be just a tale made up to 'give SCNB a back-story', but the recipe is delicious. I've only had one BBQ I didn't like in my life, it cam smothered in BBQ Sauce (Vinegar based). Thanks for sharing the BBQ.

For Pulled Pork you gotta use a vinegar sauce, for brisket you gotta use a dark BBQ sauce, for chicken a mustard based sauce.

Living in NC foothills, I’m not a fan of the sweet bbq sauce w/ pulled pork, definitely like the vinegar-based. Never had the mustard sauce or Alabama white tho. I also used to watch Duck Dynasty religiously with my dad, until it got a little too excessive, Si was always hilarious. And yes sir, that is indeed Snidley Whiplash.
