Awsome video my brotha you killed it out there you caught so many! 🎣 I told you they were crazy for the spinner Idk why lol even the Little blue gills! 😆 You're the man bro I really appreciate you giving me a shout out 🎣🙏🤜🤛 and talking about letting those beautiful crappie grow
Frank!! Thanks dude couldn't have done it without you lol but forreal that was crazy to me that they were just munching it! & of course dude your the man!! We gotta get together again here soon, get back to our ice fishing maybe haha
Just moved to the Denver area (Erie) and love your sentiments about size limits and quantity limits on catch vs keep. I fished in Michigan in small inland lakes (not the Great Lakes) off a hard-shell kayak and always had a blast fishing on "no gas motor" waters. The fishing pressure was low, so the productivity was high. BTW I tried inflatable kayaks but the cleaning out was an issue for me. Best I owned was a Sea Eagle 437 which was heavy but easy to clean. Hope to see more of your ventures on youtube,
Thanks for another awesome video, and shout out to Frank, I sent in for my master angler certificate after seeing his video !! I’m going over there to catch me some croppie tomorrow ✌️
@@FranksFishingAdventures no I’ve never caught a crappie but I watched a lot of Fishing Colorado videos and saw the one of you getting Bass Certificate! I finally got a 19” & about 4lber so I sent my paper work in, still waiting ✌️🐠
@@fishingcolorado I can check crappie off the list, glad I watched video. I’ve fished that lake a lot and hadn’t a clue there were crappie in there or how to catch them! The gold rooster tail worked, and the Bass bite was getting tough anyway ! ✌️🐠
Oh yeahh!!! Denver for life baby haha but seriously shee, you got people over here keeping 7 inch crappies and wondering why there ain't no big ones😂😂😂
Man honestly I had the same experience until this day😂 I never, never would've thought them bad boys were hitting spinners lol hopefully you have some luck man🎣🎣🎣
Thank you Greg, it's forsure a great little spot close to my home! & oh yeah the good old intex haha hopefully next season I can upgrade my yak but man I actually got that bad boy for $100 on Amazon and it's lasted me all season!
Great video at my favorite spot. Thanks for the PSA about protecting the fishery. I would also ask that anglers pick up after themselves and stop leaving areas trashed and messy. Take care of the resource! Great content, Keep killin it.
Dang! Whenever I go crappie fishing I don't catch nothin! Hopefully us not so good crappie fisherman will find some good spots! Great video! I absolutely love your content!!!
Jake! Thanks so much for the kind words as always brother! I've actually got a great spot for you to go, the Rocky Mountain Arsenal! The crappie aren't very big but you can vertical jig them off the dock super easily!! I'll actually have a video about this coming next week or so!
@@jake_k_0371 noo, no boats allowed at the RMA and it's the smaller lake with a dock that goes across the entire thing! I caught them on a "Natural" Impulse plastic it was like brownish but I also caught some on just a small pink ice fishing Tungsten that looked like a fly!
Thanks dude! Exactly my thoughts though, I mean I wouldn't consider any of the inner city bodies of water "clean" but I mean I guess to each their own lol
omg are you standing on that inflatable kayak????..... lol.... it looked like you was. good video... glad sun came out a bit for you... i think a exercise weight you might be able to use as an anchor to keep you in a spot with a kayak with a long rope of course. thats one of my favorite lakes. Can you do a video for this time of year bass? hey i finally got my 1000 fish hunter i think its called with the hidden hook. Will see what the weather does on the weekend when iam off. keep up the good videos.
I actually was haha I can stand on that baby briefly but I don't trust it😂 an exercise weight might be a good idea though, possibly 2 though like one for the front and one for the back so the wind doesn't blow me! & I will do my best brother I've been on kind of a trout hunt lately and I'm actually gonna be trying to find these kokanee salmon! That Headhunter is never a bad option though definitely in my top 5 bait brother! Thanks for watching Erik!🎣
Dope video bro, that looks fun!!! I see you have the Intex Explorer II, how are you digging that kayak? I just picked up the Intex Challenger II, but i have not got it out yet. haha Cheers!!!
Thank you my man! & oh yeah the good old intex haha I mean it gets the job done for only being a $100 dollar inflatable kayak but if I'm being honest I had the intex challenger II the year before and I liked it much better!! More spacious, more leg room and less air compartments haha you'll enjoy it forsure!
Great channel and great content. All though I agree with selective harvest, my advice is just don’t upload videos at spots you don’t want people to know about. The Texans, Asians and Russians will flock there. And they’ll just say “ I PaId FoR mY LiSCenSe i CaN KeEp wHaT I WaNT” as they fish out all the crappie (bit or small). It’s why we don’t have too many good crappie spots in the metro area anymore. They don’t care what you have to say about selective harvest, they just tune you out
It's honestly sad but seriously so many people don't give af about the future of fisheries :/ I mean in out here to catch trophies haha I don't get why other people don't want to!!
