Great video David! I don’t think you’ve covered this in a separate video before, but how about making a general “craps etiquette” video. Things like not throwing bills in the table while someone is rolling (buying-in in the middle of a roll), not saying seven while a point is on, late bets (throwing a bet as the shooter is making his/her shooting motion), etc. I’d like to see more people educated about these things so they don’t f up the rhythm of the game. Thanks!
When I teach people I also mention to not enter the game when the puck is on a point, especially if you are buying in with cash. I tell them that the game is already in progress for that point and please wait until the point is OFF to enter the table.
This drives me INSANE. to me, it's the most disrespectful move a new player can make. Wait until the game is over to buy in. I've even been offered to buy in by the stickman while I was waiting and I decline until the shooter finds big red
Good video, especially about what to do and not to do with the dice. Had a person once while I was playing that kept bringing the dice up to the chip rack, setting them down and getting her grip. Thought the stick man was going to lose his mind. He was nice and casually told her multiple times "ma'am if you are going to regrip the dice, please do it on the table. You cannot bring the dice outside of the cushion." Or something to that effect.
The brown goo on the dice comment. Was that when a certain Bulls player (DR) was up to his shenanigans with his female guest? Great video, keep it up my friend
Pretty sure I know the answer since you have to have money on a line to throw dice, but the way it was explained was must have money in play. Could you bet the don't pass establish, put money on numbers then pull your don't and keep rolling?
Once a die hit me in the chest and back on the table, and they called no-roll at NYNY last October. I thought that was weird. It did clearly go up and hit me, but it landed back on the table. Also shortly after lockdown ended, Excal had a rule, if a die went off the table you lost that option, and if the dice got below 2, new shooter. I thought that was strange, and it was at Excal, but Luxor, MGM Grand, and Bellagio didn't have that rule, all MGM properties.
So, if a casino would not allow dice setting and the stick will typically not send you the dice with a 7 showing, could you ask that the dice be given to you with a certain number up?
@@user-cc9is6kt1n So if the don't pass shooter walks off with his bet before his point is resolved, does the next shooter complete the roll? This probably never happens but I'm just wondering what the procedure is.
@@jeffreysuzuki4855 It has happened on a few occasions. It happens where there is a Don't pass player shooting the dice. If they make 2-3 points, they just pass the dice mid roll. The new shooter would continue the roll, and STILL get the dice back for his/her actual roll.
