Fun fact: the load times on the PS4 could last up to 30 SECONDS whenever you restarted a level which just made the N.Sanely perfect relics that much more unbearable
Honestly, even with the exhausting platinum and 100% requirements, that doesn't take away the love I have for this game and the Crash Bandicoot IP as a whole. Here's hoping Toys for Bob can make another game in the upcoming future
They definitely need to tone down the collect-a-thon though. A lot of this was just there for the sake of being there. In fact, only the 80% wumpa fruit gem really mattered out of the 3 wumpa gems per level since you'd naturally get the other two while going for the third. There is a sense of accomplishment after getting everything, but it's still a bittersweet feeling cause of the redundancy....
I can’t believe I got this platinum after telling myself years back that I would never want to attempt it. Idk what made me change my mind but it is my greatest 100% achievement.
People say it’s useless and torture and whatever but they can’t understand the joy after you did it ! It’s so cool to platinum hard games like that. You’re so proud of yourself at the end
I'm kind of in the same boat. I did all the flashback tapes and after that I feel like I have the skill to do the insane perfect relics and time trials, but I just don't know if I want to lol
I feel the same as you ive done it in 2023 after 160h that was pure hellish task to reach that point but ive been felt so relieved after all and happy 🙂. Super meat boy make feel that too even if i consider smb 10 times tougher than crash 4

I enjoyed this game so much I platinumed it on PS4 and then did it again when the PS5 came out. I'll tell you that the platinum used to be way way harder. The levels with the bear were nearly impossible to get all the boxes on because of the way the hit boxes worked. They now always destroy all the crates but when there were 4 boxes stacked together you had to hit it absolutely perfectly to get all 4 of the boxes

There's a surprising amount of people going for the platinum, right now. I'm close, 11 perfect and 24 platinum relics remaining and so far it seems doable.
You need to do cassettes levels too, yep this doable i did the 106% nearly 1years ago after 160hours but still earned that, no matter the time you'll put at the end, only matter the result 🙂

I got the Platinum for this - and watching this video brought back how much frustration and tears I had going for it! Never again. Still doesn't take away how much I loved this game.
on the road to platinum as well. some advice for that crate in toxic tunnels. If it bounces up and down, it's easier and safer to time and jump on top instead of timing to jump under it.
Amazing video mate, job well done. This is on my to do list but gos knows when ill get around to it. My hardest/favourite Plat will probably always be Max Payne 3, it was a struggle, but i loved it. Keep up the amazing work!
This is such a completionism nightmare, but grats for getting it done. Be glad you don't need the purple dev relics though... and they were nicer than they could have bee about the perfect relics (cause the count could have been doubled easily).
As someone who has the platinum myself... yes it was pure pain toxic tunnels was probably the worst level for the N sane perfect relic and every time trial was pretty damn hard aswell it's a very respectable platinum

Something I dreaded about this game the most is how intricately hidden some of the crates were, I'd run through levels 3 or 4 times and have to depend on the guide online for the 2 or 3 crates that I'm missing. I feel like it really takes away from the game and experience when you have to use outside sources to complete it but other than that I think the game is incredible.
102% is the best I've managed to do so far have only managed 4 platinum relics. It's amazing seeing people able to get this platinum trophy despite all the rage and pain it causes along the way
Im currently trying to get platinium for Crash 4, by now hardest platinium was Crash 1, but I thing hardest trophy for me was "gold plated" from Need for Speed 2015
You’re lucky to do this after they patched Polar’s hit box. If u think its pretty bad now, getting perfect relic for that was a 100x worse that I left it for last, and let me tell u it would have taken u much more than 3 hours to get ONE level done 😬 Btw I’d recommend slide spinning over triple spinning for speed, overall they’re the same speed but slide spin is easier & more consistent, can also let u pass small gaps without jumping. Triple spin can be used in the air tho so u can time it for jumping over gaps for maximum efficiency.
So currently at 250 plats love your videos I really enjoyed your sifu and all your other videos if you ever want help with any multi/co op trophies I would be down to help keep up the amazing grind, most RU-vidrs get the plat and that's it but you get 100 percent you are making yourself stand out good job bro ❤️
Nicely done! I got the trilogy plat, but I gave up on 4, I find it too tedious to look in a guide for every box in the level... I hope the next game would be more similar to the trilogy in terms of boxes quantity, levels length and without the nverted levels
I honestly really enjoyed the game, but not even halfway through I was getting pissed off a getting all the clear gems, so I just finished the game and gave a few half-hearted attempts at the time trials, I knew full well that if I seriously tried to platinum this game, I was going to come out hating it, and I really didn't want that because it really was a good crash game.
i avoided eveything to do with crash 4 news and videos and waited for this game to come to steam so i could have the perfect game ( steam equivalent to a platinum trophy) next to my n.sane trilogy perfect on my steam profile and i went in to this game blind ........ boy was i not ready ..... took me 80 hours but i got my perfect
@@callmeswag1226souls game are tough without going for platinum anyways so as crash 4 plat owner let me tell you, Crash is tougher if you go for the 106% imo otherwise if you just want to finish the game without looking for platinum souls game are tougher imo. But comparing 2 very differents type of game isn't appropriate, and that's something else to consider. 😊
@@ogataisshinsai8354 your very right they are different by a large margin but regardless of the genre their own platinum trophies can still be compared solely on difficulty and the time necessary to get the trophy in both games
@@callmeswag1226 Exactly dude! that's why we tend to classify a platinum outside the basic game... Some games tend to require you to complete 100% of the game to get the trophies, and others become difficult because of the platinum. I'm currently on ff7 rebirth and the platinum is just as hard to get as completing the game at 100% because the 2 things are tied up, finishing the game without going for the 100% is very simple task compared to the 100%. 🙂
GG! I've done this platinum back then, when the game was released. But my hardest one would be Hollow Knight without that stupid glitch.. 5th Pantheon really drains soul.

I only have 8 plats and my two most difficult (Yakuza 7 and Trails of Cold Steel 4) are rated 5/10, which makes sense. I don't tend to bother with trophies that need 2+ runs given I play JRPGs
I went for the platinum after seeing this video I just had to do the time trials and it took me more than 40 hours. Some levels took me 4 hours to get through 😅 The Cortex levels are the worst.
My hardest platinum would be Mega Man 11, at least that's the rarest platinum I have. It was also my first platinum. I kind of want to go for this one now, at least it looks like something I could chip away at over time.
30:19 You got lucky with this level. I don’t know what it is, but this level has a glitch that RUINS it for me. That pink slime you see throughout the level is basically ice; it’s slippery, screws up your momentum, and is just generally a miserable experience. But sometimes, whenever I screwed up and had to try again, normal movement was perfect, but I still jumped like I was jumping off the slime. Which meant that my jumps had stiff momentum that I couldn’t change. This level blows chunks. EDIT: Ironically, I actually enjoyed Toxic Tunnels quite a bit. Yes, it’s arguably the hardest level, but A, there’s no clunky ice physics, B, its difficulty makes sense based on its placement, and C, I’m a sucker for tough but fair challenges in gaming.
@@malikakhmedov979 I am not in the right mental space to try something as taxing as the Platinum Trophy for Cash Banooca 4: In a Big Tent. I got 100% once and I’m not gonna get 106%. The N. Sanely Perfects are just too damn hard, and the Platinum Time Relics are really just a slog to get through.
@@TheDMan2003 I did it but i just did 1 nsanly relic and a platinum relic per day but i regret it i got the 106 percent but dying at the end really crushed me every single damn time
I'm not gonna lied i 30/38 of the Time Trials without the Tirple Spin because the Future level and Cortex Castle levels were very difficult without the tirple spin. Also, I spend more time on the same level just because I wanted to 100% all of them so i don't backtrack later on. After 171 hours later Its very difficult but man screw Toxic Tunnels for Time Trial and the N.Sanely Perfect Relic.
I have the Hollow Knight platinum but I'm quite good at metroidvanias and combat-oriented games... But platformers like Crash 4? I'm a disaster. So with that in mind, Crash 4 was probably my toughest platinum trophy by far.

Also made it to the end and my hardest platinums were Wolfenstein 2 100% completion (with dlc mein lebens) enter the gungeon, black ops 3, and fall guys. (Infallible trophy for fall guys back before the game was updated and revamped to be easier and more skill based. You had to win 5 straight crowns back to back and be extremely lucky with the randomized courses
