Crash 4 is such a fucking good game with great game mechanics, story, aesthetic and any other thing you can name. Crash 4 perfects it. @@MYSTmkeI wouldn't go that, 4 is plenty similar to the original trilogy. Every Crash game added something to the formula. Crash 1 was basic, came with a jump, the iconic spin, bonus rounds, the box collecting and gem system. Crash 2 added the, slide, slide jump and body slam. It also introduced death routes, secret exits, warp rooms, all coloured gem path, added some vehicle levels and simplified the bonus rounds system. 3 added 5 power ups, super body slam, double jump, death tornado spin, bazooka and sprint shoes. The game itself added relics, playing as coco and stronger emphasis on vehicle levels. 4 is another edition with new mechanics such as wall running and the 4 mask power ups of which were reality phase, anti grav perma spin, time stop as well as gravity flip. The game also added hidden boxes, flashback tapes, dynamic camera(which was in wrath to be fair) perfect relics, nverted stages, more playable characters and went back on vehicle levels to platforming. Apart from the flashback tapes, new characters, dynamic camera and more platforming, a lot of the changes that weren't gameplay related detracted from the experience in my opinion which is why there is an Nhanced mod on pc of which fixes most of the issues and makes it more enjoyable.
@@logiclunacy606 dude, why did you comment this lmao. I am not one of the people who think the game is THAT much different from the trilogy. Other than the art style (which I love) the game feels like a natural progression of the games.
Great job as usual, brings back memories from the warped. I also enjoy how you add in varied scenery, like when you enter inside the hollow tree and a bridge and a cave with lava waterfalls.

That looks amazing! The camera guidance from 0:50 until 1:25 is impressive! The original levels from Crash 1-3 felt quite linear, but this level, especially that part really feels different. I feel like you also nailed the spirit of the original levels, the level wasn't too long but looks quite difficult, and there weren't too many boxes either. Also, does that death path have that 1 missing box? Feels cruel, love it :D
Looking forward to trying this out! Definitely the best looking Crash project in Dreams I've seen! My only minor critique is that it seems like he moves slightly too fast which appears to take away some of the challenge. Or rather, it seems like everything goes by too quickly and doesn't give much time to absorb the world around you and explore. Or perhaps there just needs to be more crates and enemies around. Can't tell for sure which is the actual case since I haven't tried it out for myself, but it's just an observation I've made from watching this gameplay. I just know that it seems like everything goes by too quickly. I definitely want this to be the best it can be, I can tell you're a passionate Crash fan like I am! Keep up the awesome work! :)

It's normal that it may appear a little strange from this point of view, but once you get used to it you won't pay much attention to it, or at least I hope so. This really looks like one of the best Crash bandicoot fan-game/fan-levels. You took great care of details. :) Only point, I would have added a couple enemies more, maybe of different nature, just to make it a bit more challenging and difficult :) Keep on with the great job! :)
Make sure you let us know when you are releasing this and a question. Will there be a boss battle and a story or is it just random levels. I hope there is a boss fight cos I love crash bandicoot bosses and if you made these levels so good and made them feel like crash then I bet a boss fight would look so cool and you could make it perfect. @@damienjones3793 I haven't posted any videos about the chase level yet! In the community post of the channel I let subscribers choose which level to see first and most chose for the lava Level.
@@Canymous-InDreams Oh well I only have 2 hopes for this when I finally get Dreams, 1: there are a bunch of chase levels (how many you decide) 2: the game has a good in-depth story and build up difficulty like Crash Bandicoot 4 did.
HI! The game is in development on a PS5 console! that means it will be released on this console. Dreams will obviously publish it automatically on PS4 but I don't know how it will run (most likely with a low frame)

dont know why but am pretty sure there is a hidden level somewhere 0:44 i feel like i should continue with the rocks, just in case there is some secret death route btw with all due respect i feel like the sound of attacking and breaking should be more, well powerful like a falling table for breaking the box or lunching a missile for when you attack an ennemi , you know what i mean.
