to anyone who's just starting to study, search up "crash course ap human geography playlist" on here and there are premade playlists that talk about some of the main units of this class (globalization & industrialization, agriculture, diseases, population, all that shiz)
Ay Boys, I Understand we have the test tomorrow, and i don't know about y'all but I barley understand anything! May God watch over me and my fellow test taking brother, may we all pass and do great.Good look 2019 AP Human Squad. May we do the best of our abilities. -May 13, 2019 -Test date: May14, 2019 Good Luck, We got this :D
If you guys are reading this the day before your test These are probably some stress relievers 1. AP grading doesn’t expect you to get a high # correct, the grading is VERY FORGIVING. A 50/75 and 4 Points from the frq(1 or 2 questions) is enough to get you a borderline 4. 2. They don’t mark you off for getting any questions wrong, only for questions you get right. Guess to your hearts content to try and get the most points possible 3. There’s a break in the middle of the ap test. Not sure if your ap teachers told you, but you get a brief break in the middle in which your able to eat a snack if you’d like Reminders/tips - Bring paper, black/blue pens, pencils, and a watch to time yourself - there’s 75 questions and you have 60 minutes to complete the test. This leaves you 45 seconds per question. Don’t stress about it, just go through the fast and answer what you easily can then go back to the mind boggles later - it’s ap human geography, if there’s a question you don’t understand it can relate to something about population, agriculture, or urbanization - make sure to re-state the question and explain all your answers. You should know this from grading practice frqs in class - Finally take deep breaths. The calmer you are, the less frantic and more focused you will be to get that 5 Good luck to me and everyone else tomorrow, also east coast tests are different from west coast tests so don’t bother trying anything
@Smurr Smurr They don't expect you to know everything about the world (since Human Geography is about the world), which is why they curve it. Here is an example of the curve from last year's AP HuG Exam (look at standard deviation): apcentral.collegeboard.org/pdf/ap18-human-geography-score-distribution.pdf
Thank you for this!! It's really helpful :) I had a quick question about what you're using to review; what's the name of the flashcard program in the background that you are using?
I wasn't panicking, I studied, and I went to sleep early but alas I went to the wrong testing location and now have to pay to take the makeup test so yay extra time to study but nay I feel so stupid.
I have a question that’s really weird but it’s making me stress out so I must ask. If my good luck sock has a hole in it, will it make it bad luck or it will still be good luck
The thing is I have 3 days until the ap exam. I have failed mostly very quizzes and tests and frq tests in my class, and I have a 62 in the class. I have never studied before in my life, fuck meee
