Crash course to Norwegian black metal episode 13: Forgotten Woods, Helheim, Troll 

I absolutely LOVE Forgotten Woods!!! I'm so glad you decided to mention them! Forgotten Woods is one of my top favorites for NBM. Has been for a long time. Such a different sounding band, such a cool sound. Where the wolves gather is a phenomenal album. I love how Forgotten Woods uses (mostly) single kick drums, where as every other Black metal band (especially NBM) uses double kick.. Combined with the mid tempo guitars, and howling vocals, so very unique, yet organically so. Thanx for mentioning Forgotten Woods. 😎🤘

I agree on Jormundgand. Bought it in 95 from some black and white printed catalogue when I was 14. It never left my mind. Although I was the only kid in school :-)

Early hellheim releases are great! And 2 first troll releases are truly great!! DREP DE KRISTNE!!!! new troll album is ok album.and forgotten woods is good ,i like 2 firs of them!!

Forgotten Woods is great, it's almost like a post-punk band with long droning songs and some strong early Burzum vibes thrown in.

Which resident evil game is your favorite?
