Crash of Moons (1954) Adventure, Sci-Fi, TV Movie 

I know what you guys mean, but I do love the Rocky Jones series and movies. Good clean sci-fi beats the suggestive mess of today any time!

When I was A little kid this was exciting, at 75 the sliding doors are what kept my interest. Thanks for sharing.

I used to watch Rocky Jones growing up in the late '50's.

I love the old-fashioned looks of the space rockets.

I love the idea of navigating in outer space with a paper chart and a set-square.

Well given its the 50‘s this was a nice afternoon matinee socially conforming to the accepted American values of the time while still being a story of aspiration, in the dream of man (and ladies and children) exploring outer space. The cast….in that context was as wholesome and perfect as apple pie….made me feel good to after watching the whole film….to know that once…beautiful America was like that 😊😊😊😉 A young John Banner was a treat!

Three episodes of "ROCKY JONES- SPACE RANGER" strung together for theatrical release. Producer Roland Reed did that with several story arcs during 1953 and '54, even while the TV series {39 episodes} was syndicated (and later seen on NBC during 1954).

Those were some very short skirts for 1954. Sci-fi seemed to get away with it, like Anne Francis in "Forbidden Planet".

Believe that Sally Mansfield was in her 30s when this was filmed, but you wouldn't know it.

Rocky Jones was my favorite Sci-fi show as a kid. The production values at the time were outstanding, and what pre-pubescent kid wouldn't get excited over Vena?

Excellent, enjoyable from start tk finish, bare in mind this was for kids and it was many years before Star Trek this was a quality tv show and special effects not bad for what was possible back in the 50s. Paul Bacchus

Ohhh Noooo not Winky and Bobby again. I still haven't gotten over my last Bowel Movement when these two teamed up. I swear i couldn't figure out who was real adult between them two.....Also 1954 was a banner year for movies such as "Morons from Outer Space" and "I was teenage vagabond for the Mafia".....You get the picture....lol
