Bred Robert, I like to thank you for your delicate, wonderful, philosophical songs and your unique deep voice! Your songs and your voice saved my day again an again and made me feel good. Thank you!
This sing made me cry when i was in hospital after being hit by a car, I saw it on Due South. I thought my life wasn't worth living, I realise now it is! Still love this song though
Dejhalie Crook I miss them too... They defined a very good portion of my life. I will always treasure the memories elicited whenever I listen to this song... Thank You For The Memories. Please pass this along to your cousins.
man...I have never heard any sing so low and be this melodic holding the baritone that Brad has....wow.. I agree when folks say he is one of the most underrated song writer and vocalist... IMO he is exceptional ..
It reminds me of dad...A very hard nosed MP in the ARMY who fought crime. But when he came back became a talented small machine repairman and was very polite and moral with 4 kids. He taught us right from wrong thats for sure.
I was recently reminded of these songs. Now I need to explore the new tunes. This band introduced me to "alternative" sounds and voices and lyrics....thanks.

Man, every time I would here this song it would almost make me get teary eyes. Kind of makes ya feel bad for poor supe. Great song and great group. Missed seeing them playing it live. Makes the song have more meaning.
Hay Bob Sup had a straight job... Makes me weep and think of my father. He saved the world every day and now at 83 his saving days are over and he just sits and prays for death. Is it simple nostalgia or when the great men from the 50's die will Superman be dead with them?
@ZELPHOR there´s no way to find better words...know what you mean..I saw them in berlin in a small club 8 years ago.one of the best concerts I´ve ever seen.
No, this is not in church. It is a factory hall for producing barbie dolls in East China. And the "Crash Test Dummies" were there, just for a short visit to check out in which way dog's are tasting with a sweet/spicy Sauce. Greatings from Germania. This also explains my bad english;)
@iliketopkwithstuff yah apparantly he goes to every school in canada to say the zact same story, i saw him at george ST Middle school and AllenDale Middleschool. its like hes following me O.o...
I dunno, at first it sounded almost like he was dying... but i like it, that's what this song is about... is that mounrful sorrow regret of losing osmeone so awesome they seem almost inhuman
