Honestly it is incredible that you boys are able to adapt to the desert coming from where you do. For the folks that have only ridden on dirt in the forest it is really hard to describe how difficult and different riding in the desert is. It is the driest day of the season times 100 all year round. Loose over hard, the loose is very loose the hard is very hard. Breaking distance feels like it is doubled and a little too much on the front wheel with tuck it with no notice. I went from PNW riding to Texas and felt like I needed to relearn how to bike.

Just those trails are insane, but then watching Brendan's rampage build videos the past few days....gooood gaawd...none of it...not a chance.

That ridge is terrifying enough on a screen,almost couldn't watch this one! Fair play to you Matt and Deaks too.

100% respect for giving it another go, you'll get it next year. I'd recommend not trying to follow your bike off a cliff though, I'd rather lose my bike than end up in a broken pile next to it! Having said that I did break my foot riding into a wall a few weeks ago so I'm probably not qualified to give advice... I hope your wrist is okay. 👍

Glad you weren't seriously hurt! I was wondering at what point this crash happened...and was on edge vicariously.....and then when I saw the front wheel kick way off and then the rest....yikes! I thought the bike did a geronimo off the side of the mountain and you had to walk it back. Could have gone much worse... How strong is the strongest drone? Wondering if there ia a bike retrieval model where it comes equipped with all the attachments of R2D2 and yet concealable in a back pack with a built in sensor that knows when to eject itself from the backpack (or to go into bike retrieval mode from an already capture footage while chasing mode).... For all yiu inverntors out there.... I'd like a small cut! Haha! Glad you guys survived! 😇🙏💪 God's Only Son Permits Eternal Life!
