17 days?? I have some I tried to prop in March and they just have a couple of tiny little roots finally this week on the top part. The single leaves with stems still haven't done anything.
I think using just the leaves to propagate will take time to roots. But when you use the cuttings with stem it will root faster like what I did on the video. And yes in just 17 days or even less because they have the roots already before I have the time to film them.
It doesn’t matter wether you water or not the plant before doing the pruning. The important is after cutting the plant, let the cuttings dry first before planting in the soil. Or you can plant the cuttings immediately but in a dry soil and do not water until 2-3 days to give them a chance to dry out.
